- You would think that after cozying up on Outlander for three years, co-stars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan would know each other pretty well. We asked the Starz show’s leads about one another to find out just how much they’ve learned in between steamy times on set.

Neither do I. When I first saw her, I thought she was a British one because of her accent, and I got surprised when I Know she is Irish
She’s the last person who speaks Gaelic in the show but in real life she’s fluent in it...
In Irish Gaelic - Gaeilge although it's very similar to Scottish Gaelic - they both come from Old Irish

They are perfect together. Jamie’s eyes are so beautiful. I absolutely loved the show. I can’t wait until I can see 4, 5, and 6th.,seasons. I recommend it to everyone I talk to!!!!

Me!!!! I’m late but I just started it a couple of days ago and just finished season 1. I am OBSESSED!!! I started reading the first book in the series as well. It’s the best thing. The Claire and Jamie pairing is one of the best fictional couples.

They are both utterly good-looking and incredibly charming as well and, of course, perfect for their roles, with a fantastic chemistry on the screen, resulting in incredible artistic synergy! The show had an overall most fortunate casting, by the way!!!

Outlander is by far the best show on TV. Can’t wait for each season to begin. I have read all of the Outlander books and find that the series is so true to the books. The actors are wonderful and have really enjoyed the series when it’s filmed in Scotland. I found that the early books are much better than the last ones. Will be interesting to see how they are portrayed.
The author of the books is on-set for a lot of the filming of the show, because the directors wanted it to be as accurate to the books as possible

I just wish Outlander cast gets more recognition. This series is a lot better than game of throne.
Outlander will draw a huge following, the plot is so creative, the acting and casting is brilliant. Im not a great watcher of tv but this series is like a rollercoaster ride for your emotions and imagination, its like an addiction you cant get enough.

Wow I wasnt expecting their accents to be so different in real life, it just goes to show how good actors they are as Cat pulls off a perfect British accent and Sam's Scot accent sounds way heavier but completely natural. Lol

I just discovered this amazing series two days ago so I am wayyy behind the fanfare..I will say this much when Sam is not dressed as Jamie I would not recognize him..He looks so different in real life that I was shocked when I first saw him..Both are amazing actors and I love the chemistry that they have while portraying Clare and Jamie on screen..
