I'm glad I'm not the only one with butteringers when it comes to loading this type of filmback.

Nice video Erik. I really enjoy the lines and colours in the last photo. To me, it somehow has this futuristic and dystopian look to it, but still a comforting character in a way.

Really cool video Erik! Really enjoyed the dynamic between you and Hans, very enjoyable to watch! Makes me want to go out on photowalks with friends too! A bit difficult with COVID currently in the Netherlands tho.

Now I don't feel so bad about film loading gymnastics, thanks! I have to agree, getting dripped on by sewer water was not worth it for those shots thru the fence. But you had fun doing it and I think that was almost as much the point as testing the film. Never thought about traffic barriers like candy but it makes total sense the way they set it up. You got a lot of atmosphere with that film, for sure.

Fun times!! Actually really loved the look and the "halos" I would argue really help and add to the mystique of night time (film) photography.

Ok love this video. I actually shot a roll of portra 800 at night in Raleigh a couple years ago and went to some of the same places you did. Ended up using the images for a Zine, loved the results. Didn’t know you were based out of there. I’ve yet to shoot with 800T but this made me want to pick up a few rolls and go for it. I feel like Raleigh at night is the best but city for photography bc truly it’s never crazy with traffic.

Probably my favourite "special occasion" film stock. I love the stuff but the price means I tend to hoard it and only shoot it for something special.....which inevitably ends up being walking around at night on vacation somewhere shooting it. I did a video myself about it a while ago (although that video is terrible). Enjoyed the video man, nice to see you back something new.
