  • We stayed at the Hotel Charur Playa Real Resort in Costa Adeje, Tenerife in April 2022 for 11 nights in a Junior suite with pool view, booked through Jet2Holidays.
The hotel is rated 4 stars however we felt it was more of a 3-star hotel, with the room and amenities being somewhat dated and in need of repair/replacement.
Room access is via keycard (of which you're only provided one at check-in). The card is also used to power the lights/electricity in the room.
The bathroom was dated and contained twin sinks, a bath with shower, a toilet and bidet. The toilet flush broke on our second day however, hotel maintenance were quick to repair it. The water pressure and shower head left a lot to be desired.
The master bedroom comprised of two large single beds, desk and sliding-door wardrobes with integrated safe.
The living area had a pull-out bed, TV with English and European channels/radio, a fridge and access onto the balcony.
Rooms are cleaned, beds made and towels changed daily however things still felt a little grubby.
Everything was just "OK" for us during our stay, nothing particularly special and it's a little too far out of the way (and up a hill). We probably wouldn't return.

I must say big thanks to the gentleman manager running the buffet restaurant who was really welcoming during my stay.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the main resort (Video coming soon) so take some good shoes! - Otherwise a taxi should only be a few Euros.
The food in the buffet restaurant sits for a good while before it opens, best to go around 20-30 minutes after opening when they start replenishing the food.
Definitely book the a la carte restaurant if you can - the food and service were great! (The food was included in our All Inclusive package but we had to pay for drinks).
There's plenty of activities for kids, keep an eye out on the boards near reception and downstairs next to the bar for what's on that day/night.
Book your excursions direct with wherever you want to go, the on-site excursions man/shop adds quite a bit on for his commission!
The hotel is getting a little tired and could do with a re-vamp, but the staff are great.
Hope you have a great holiday!
