This is one of the rare mansions that actually looks used - so often they look like massive, empty complexes
Exactly!
It has so much personality!
Petition to have Graham wear a silk robe while doing house tour reviews
lol
Like Hugh Hefner.....with some type of Dodge bunnies.👯♂️👯♂️ This channel would go to the moon 🚀😎
and makeup
@@TheGrahamStephanShow why you laughing we’re serious 😑
LMAO yes xD
Bretman is so positive and unproblematic unlike influencers in LA
HE IS !
💯💯💯
where's the lie
@@callyderon310 he doesn't really have fucked up drama like james charles with young boys, he just chillin
I can assure you, everyday does NOT feel like a vacation. Unless you’re a millionaire of course. The vast majority of people on the islands are hustling to make it.
that's what I've heard!
Yup, everyone's working multiple jobs just to pay rent and also multigenerational housing, not just for culture but also cause nobody can afford to live by themselves.
Housing prices are through the roof to the point that natives are either homeless or having to move out of their homeland...
EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! errbody working multiple jobs just to make it. Born and raised and I aint leaving my island no matter how difficult it gets
@@Paula-Kealoha same. Moved to the mainland for a little bit, but moved back cuz there's no place like home...
@Cherie Salibio yeah, i’m born and raised on Oahu and if it’s not multiple jobs, it’s a REALLY good paying job. I’m lucky enough to live in a house since most of the people I know pay rent.. it’s hard, I wanna move to the mainland asappp
As someone who used to live in Hilo, Hawaii in a small apartment, I will say this. Although a typical day doesn't feel like a vacation, the palm trees, nice weather, and laid back people make it much easier to relax than on the mainland. :)
As a Hawaii resident, no, everyday doesn't feel like a vacation in my opinion. But when you live in a house that has this amazing of a view and location, it never gets old and at the very least always keeps you appreciative for the island that you live on. For me at least (: Since Bretman is local, I'm sure he's well aware of the beauty and cultural significance of the islands so I could imagine that this house is an ode to his love for his home
Bretman is just so chill, he's such a great person
he is !
graham not understanding brets personality ✋😭😩
😐
ikr omg boomer
I was wondering how he would react to his energy but forget they apart of different worlds 😪😭
Yeah boomers LMAO 🤣
He's been saying it's not his cup of tea, so let's just take it that way i guess 🤷
TBF he's done a nice job with that house, and $2m sounds pretty cheap all things considered. So much better than most celeb mansions that feel completely bland!
I'm shocked that the house was only $2M. In Hawaii, $1M doesn't buy you very much. It could be because his house is an hour away from town?
@@WittleMsChloe yeah the farther you are from town it gets cheaper. But he's also in a gated community so that's probably why it's a little bit more too
He’s in the ghetto- Makaha so that’s why it’s affordable
@@spants1058 if Makaha's the ghetto, what's Kalihi then? 😆
the blooming chair looks like a Hibiscus flower, which is common in the Philippines and Hawaii, haha for those who looked at it and actually see a flower lol
it's called gumamela in the Philippines
Flor de maga in Puerto Rico, and it’s our national flower.
Amapola is what we called them in Cuba. Love them :)
Right! I'm like, how does he NOT see that's a flower?!?
That was my first thought. Hibiscus 🌺🌺🌺
I'm a simple robot: I see a millionaire reacting to a Bretman Rock's colorful Hawaiian villa, I click
😂
I wonder what island he's on...2M, strangely enough, sounds like a super deal for a lot like that in Hawaii.
I think it's Oahu.
West side of Oahu. City is makaha.
Ikr
He’s on Oahu
Lmao no its not, milk is $6 here
When you live on an island (I'm a Jamaican) you see the water every day and walk pass it like it's nothing. you get so used to it honestly. Everyday is NOT a vacation
Have lived in an island (was born and raised in the Philippines), in California, and in the Midwest and trust me I would honestly rather take the island life. Not a fan of earthquakes, droughts, snow, or tornado warnings y’all.
if you never live in hectic city you won't know the feeling. It so much different.
As someone who was raised here and grew up here, I just get used to my surroundings and don’t think about it. Then you have your days where you’re driving and the mountain and ocean is as clear as it can be and appreciate everything.
I totally agree! Driving through the east side mountains or along the west side oceans really reminds me how lucky I am to call Hawaii my home :) Or sometimes, when I come back from trips to the mainland I really appreciate the greenery, clear skies, weather, people, and ocean!
Graham, he prefers the beach than the pool and goes to the beach nearly everyday. I watch his insta stories a lot :>
Where he lives has dolphins in the ocean all the time - Mahaka beach is where they like to breed. Makaha and nearby Waianae are also the ghetto
"This is where I pretend I know how to cook" LOL also I love how this mansion looks "broken in" instead of bland and empty like a lot of other large houses, great video!
Graham, can I just say a huge THANK YOU. By following your clear and well explained advice, my credit score has gone from a pitiful 'very poor' category where I didn't have a clue the best way to approach it, to the 'excellent' category in less than one year. Your advice has truly changed my life and in turn I've been in a better position to be able to help my own son with his financial choices. I've just SMASHED that like button, and I hope others do the same. xx
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Happy to help, keep up the great work! :)
This is your sign to become a beauty CZcamsr!
Haha we'll see
20 cent iced makeup palette? 😜
I need a version of this video where Graham shows up to people’s houses and gives his thoughts during the actual house tour
Uninvited lol
I love Bretnam! He puts off such a confident energy out there, yet being a non problematic person. He's an amazing person.
yes thank you ! i don’t think graham understands that
Yes because he is really working on hard problems..
ngl i hate everything about him just from seing him one minute - exept saving turtles
I get annoyed by most beauty gurus and don't follow them. Idk Bretman but for some reason he doesn't annoyed me. He seems to stay away from the beauty guru drama.
@@lindavel43 he does !
wow I like how Graham is really just watch and admire and agree with Bretman's work of art. Nothing financially complains abt. just appreciation. This is gold !
I’m from Hawaii, we all love Bretman here. And no, does not feel like vacation ESPECIALLY when poverty is high here. But us locals can take the beauty for granted sometimes. Come visit!!!
"he could pay for the house with the avocados"
I live in Barbados (Caribbean) and because I've been born here it doesn't feel like a vacation cause it's very normal haha.
It actually looks like a flower to me, similar to the red hibiscus flower 🌺 which I often saw in the Philippines.
4:45 Graham’s expression when he looks at the chair looks like Morty from Rick and Morty😅
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The view doesn't wear off it's different everyday, but it doesn't feel like a vacation everyday either.
My two fave youtubers to watch. Didn't know I needed this!
No Graham, you cant get a view like that in Malibu.
Ahhh my two faves in one video!! I'm the most consistent with watching you and Bretman.
Bretman is actually a really humble influencer. He’s super family oriented and a ride or die Hawaiian.
I believe his chair is supposed to represent a Hibiscus 🌺 flower
Exactly! The chair looks just like a Hibiscus!
Love the series, keep it up, and I’ll keep smashing that like button!
First it was Graham reacting to Kelly Stamps and now reacting to Bretman! WOW. I am here for it
Graham with another clutch video! Great job!
Thanks again!
Lmao… the chair is a damn hibiscus flower 🌺
Bretman has some really expensive and rare plants in his house that might not look expensive to everyone but they can go for thousands
That house is really nice! It has a very outdoors are indoors kind of vibe. Great video!
Graham, the flower chair represents gumamela or hibiscus flower! I believe so! Heheheh hello! Finally!! Waited for this!!!
not graham doing a double take of the tripod facing the bed
PAUSE: He has an entire avocado tree! 😍
Mr. Stephan please keep doing these types of videos, these are great , great videos as usual
The beauty industry it's just bonkers, whenever I look at the stats it blows me away - no wonder these youtubers are making bank, but the competition is fierce.
I absolutely love your cynicism!!!! It’s why I come back to your channel time and time again!!!
I was waiting for this video 😂
ha absolutely
Great video Graham and hi from Norway!
The blooming chair by Kenneth Cobonpue resembles a “gumamela” (hibiscus) flower.
I advocate for arming the sea turtles with plastic knives, so they can defend themselves from the straws.
Thank you Graham for covering this!
you got it!
Me: going to sleep
* Graham uploads*
Sleep: I'll allow it.
Sounds accurate 😂
Avocado tree is my favorite thing in his home. So cool!
@@miriamstrauss Hi :-)
im all from graham dissecting furniture details in the most honest way 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love how Graham is a nature lover!!!
Try speaking in 3rd person in your intro.
Hey guys. Graham Stephan wants you to welcome you to his show.
Graham and Bretman! 🤩 Yeyy!!
I love the genuine reactions!!
Your manifestation just manifested. Like button smashed!
Smashing like and commenting for the algorithm as always!
Thanks for the visit!
You referring to yourself in the the third person is so funny! ItsTobez likes that.
Liking FOR BRETMAN ROCK and his Avocado tree beside that Majestic little Hawaiian hill. He is just one of the most down to earth among the biggest influencers I've seen.
Great video again Graham!
I dont know what’s funnier, Bretman or Graham reacting to his weirdness 😂
I live in Hawaii, not as a rich person though just in a high rise with a great view. There are times when you’re driving through certain areas and around the coast where it seems like things look like a dream, but due to high cost of living and a smaller economy here, most people don’t feel like they’re on vacation. Hawaii probably feels more like a vacation if you already have a ton of money but for the average person, it has its troubles which is why a decent amount are moving out to what’s considered the beloved 9th island of Hawaii, Las Vegas lolol
And if you go on vacation do you see those places as more beautiful than hawaii? Because you already live in such a perfect and beautiful spot
@@lw1717 Personally, no. I’m a huge fan of the tropics and Hawaii has the perfect trade wind environment with a tightly regulated temperature. The ocean is perfectly warm and the mountains are absolutely breathtaking. And what makes it better is that there’s no weird reptiles or predators. There are some areas of the coast where there can be sharks, but on Oahu that’s not too common, the dolphins, fish, and turtles are just amazing. There are times when I start taking it for granted but if I spend time away from Hawaii, I appreciate the novelty but I start missing the Hawaii environment after about a week or so.
Occasionally, when I go somewhere else, it might be nice to feel a little less humidity or see some snow, but Hawaii for the most part is just breathtakingly gorgeous.
@@lw1717 most of us islanders would go to the city for a vacation really just to get that away from the laidback.
Ahhh I just love Graham's videos. Really need to say that.❤️❤️
i’m obsessed with how close the mountain is
Hey Graham, aloha from Honolulu! Living in Hawaii is amazing and I do feel grateful, especially when I can see the beautiful ocean from the living room windows every day. There’s also tons of beautiful places on this island to film (check out my meditation videos). One might start taking it all for granted after living here for a few years, but just one drive around the island along the beaches and you’re reminded the LA beaches are nothing like these ones 😉
I can't believe Bretman is on this channel!! He's the BEST! Love his personality!
Graham reacting to any video makes a great video!
True facts!!
It's citrine and there's a concrete layer on the outside to help stabilize it.
Amethyst is the purple one. They're all members of the Court's Family however different minerals in it creates different colors
Oh, 30 minutes after upload that’s early for me. I love mansions. My favorite show as a kid was lifestyles of the rich and famous
I forgot all about that show! I loved the guy who narrated it lol.
Aloha Graham , I’m born and raised in Hawaii on the Island of Oahu and believe me, Hawaii is paradise but like anything in life, if you don’t put the effort to appreciate the blessings, it goes unnoticed and as a result, the local “Aloha Spirit” is slowly fading. I follow your channel and appreciate what you do for the finance community. If you’re ever visit and need a “local” to give you insight on how to have the best trip and where to go
Thumbs up for your sense of humor in this vid. Graham Stephan (3rd person) rocks! lol
i love bretman rock! he inspires us all, especially as Asians in America! ❤️
I watched the video like half through a thought "Graham should do a video about this" here I am fishing the video with your review amazing.
Graham's face at the butt chair 😂
Regarding your question about Hawaii feeling like a vacation all the time or does that great feeling wear off after a bit, I'd tell you that, as a guy who grew up (and still lives) in Missouri, most of my fellow Missourians would probably ask you the same question about living in Southern California (before you moved). Is there a diff. between your question and my example? Sure. But I think you see where I'm coming from, regardless. It's all about your perspective. Great video, man.
I love the last part where he actually drove golf cart all the way down to get his mail
The blooming chair is supposed to look like the flower Gumamela 🤣
Born & raised in Hawaii. No, it doesn’t feel like a vacation everyday. Especially when rich foreigners are consistently buying homes and driving locals out.
GRAHAM! These vids are the best!
THANKS
When I saw this on AD I knew Graham was going to react to this video.
The “A Christmas Story” reference 😂 fra-jee-lay!
Can you eat Starbucks for a week and make a video about it? It will………..help with your beauty?
maybe!
TBH I just love the style of his house
me too!
I like how he has to specify how his door is always open to Architectural Digest and not us :'(
People like these guys and the other guy beauty guru make me feel depressed where i am in life. They literally embody following their dreams. cool stuff
I love this series!
THANKS!
The flower he’s probably talking about is called Gumamela/Hibiscus. ☺️
Out of all the things Bretman Rock has, I'm most jealous of his avocado tree LOL
I am building my own house at the moment and watching these reactions really helps..
you got it! happy to help!
Actually, the hibiscus flower came to my mind at first when I saw the chair; defo not the R21 reference that most people might assume. :P
Graham referring to himself in the third person had me dead LOL
I actually thought it looks like a flower. And I usually have a dirty mind
Don’t think I’ve ever been this early to a Graham Stephan video 🤯🤯
BOOM!
Alright Graham new challenge….you gotta do review wearing a silk bathrobe!
I don’t live in Hawaii. However I have a cousin that retired there. He’s been there for over two years now and he said it’s like waking up to paradise every single day. His backyard is gorgeous with free horses roaming around . Every day does feel like a vacation he says.
petition to have Graham Stephan wear a money suit specifically for this channel
"It needs a pool in the back"
Why have a pool if the beach is literally down the road LOL
This was dope. Beautiful home
The cross over we all hoped for
