- This is a personal mod pack I've been working on, played in my multiplayer server for Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. I have no credit in this pack except for a little bit of sound and text work.
The map is cs_biodome.

Seeing how much interested everyone is, I’ve decided to upload the pack with an open link for the next video. I’ll just have to update a few things to make it more playable.
EDIT: We have come to a decision that a new international Discord server must be set up. We'll work on a simple server just for now, it will be a modding hub. We'll release the mod there. I'll post the link here and in the description of all my videos when it is ready.
By the way, we'll need some admins and editors to help us sort things out in Discord. Contact me if you're willing to help.

Did you port the human grunts models to CS? Because I remember they were ported a long time ago by Frk_14 (modder) or are you using the ones he ported? Asking out of curiosity.

I bet the HECU were just their placeholder/functionality test model before they even put the final CT models on it, and I guess it only took a little bit of effort to modify the firstperson hand viewmodel from OF to Counter-Strike, hence they look so similar.
And in Defuse mode, the Black Ops try to detonate the nuke. How appropriate.

the fact that this idea WASN'T one of the modes in original opposing force is absolutely baffling
add randomly spawning aliens depending on the map with aggro set to all players and you have a perfect multi
I think that could be done with AMXX but I don't know how.

It's the other way around actually, since this is Counter Strike with Half Life skins.
Fact : "Half-Life: Counter Strike" literally is counter strike first name because originally counter strike is half life mod version
these mods feel like they're 20 years late and are filled with the desperation of pumping the extra few drops of fun from an old game
I honestly wished the other team was the black mesa guards, would've made sence that they protect civilians from HECU
If I can get some plugins running, I might work on an alternate version.

Wouldn't make much of a sense as the guard personnel is mostly not as trained combat-wise as the HECU marines.

Imagine this if it were also possible to have Xen NPC's placed/spawning around the map creating an added hazard for both teams.
I could REALLY like to see the HECU forces in the Counter-Strike lore (in another timeline of course), working together with the Coalition Taskforce and being playable as agents.
I can already see it: Master Agent, commander Adrian Shephard. 🤤

sorry but what "counter strike lore" exactly? Other than vague descriptions on each map, cs doesnt have lore in the traditional video game way.

This feels like an actual Counter-Strike 1.6 mod you'd see in 2004.
This game was a masterpiece;no need of any higher core processor and graphics card but still enjoyable.

I love the M4 draw animation being a fix of the original
HL1 and Op4's weapons really work well with CZ's weapon animations. The SMG and Op4 desert eagle fit them like a glove.

[Idea for hostage rescue] a black mesa theme map where the hecu has to rescue some very high rank personel while guards try to defend the high rank personel something like Dr breen
Hearing Bust or Tunnel with this kind of action is superb. Music was kinda wasted on Opposing Force cuz you can hear cool tracks such as Bust or Tunnel just once on the entire game.

We are actually hosting a Condition Zero server with Half-Life themed maps in the cycle. You'll need to download the pack to play with HL stuff though.

I know sounds and animations are not the most realistic one, bit CS from 2000 has animations and sounds that are very good to hear(somebody call it ASMR or smth like that but not that)

Did u download those radio voice lines from gamebanana? I made a HL1 grunt radio mod way back in the day, sounds just like how I remember it. Cervejinha3211 was my account name there.
I couldn't find it, but I think so. Though we have already revised most of them since they were cut in the middle when a bot responded.

- Black Ops player models by Fancy Dilly and zulmargera

It's funny coz I always found that the m4 (well model 727/723 or whatever it is) in half life to be modelled better than the m4 in cstrike
Because the HD model was made after initial release of Counter Strike
somehow a CS1.6 M4 with an actually accurate m4 reload instead of pulling on the forward assist feels more cursed.

You can play it in Condition Zero, but CZ will run 1.6 maps just fine since they are both goldsrc.

My inner child is completely taken over by seeing this, as this is exactly what I wanted CS to be at that time as Half Life was all of my world back then.
Kinda sad that you fight black ops instead of black mesa security which I was absolutely expecting to see, them being each other's original enemies.
Black ops leave bad taste, reminding more of a bit of let down Opposing Force was for me as I wanted a tons more cooperation with other HECU marines than the game provided.

I am afraid not. Although 1.6 and CZ are very similar in terms of modding. Haven’t tested it but it might also work in 1.6.
@@BlackHand- tbh it would become way more popular if it was ported to cs 1.6 instead
