I have seen the entire First Season of (TOKYO RAVENS) anime show series, the English Dubbed version, and I was disappointed that it never had a Second Season made for it, since the way the last episode of the First Season of it had ended. So I strongly feel that the (TOKYO RAVENS) anime show series deserves to get rebooted.

Yeah the execution does not really match the complexity of the magic he used. He basically used the concept of Five Elements Mutual Generation, which uses the creation cycle to make the next spell more powerful. Metal enriches Water Water nurtures Wood Wood feeds Fire Fire dries Earth Earth refines Metal In here you see him apply this while they were inside the building, he splashed water onto the ogre which creates the vine (wood) on the ogre's feet which then were used to attacked him with fire. He also said he needs more powerful fire source, so he looked around and saw the wood monster (the big long monster that attcked him from the back) and uses that to create a more powerful Fire magic which the one he threw. He also used used the Anti-Hyakki Yagyou Pentagram, the star he used to knock back the ogre with samurai. His execution are not as powerful and not as cool as the one where he "learned" (he was trying to copy him) the technique. He saw his teacher Jin Ohtomo fight Douma and used these magics diring that fight. Watch that part of the episode, it's one of the best if not the best fight in this anime. Bith of these magics

But, from the comment list people are just flooding the comments with dub arguments rather than complaining about the main character using spells immediately with no practice or where their protector was.
@@theraven.4 I finished the show last year. Harutora always had strong spiritual power. He just couldn’t use it at first because it was sealed. The star marking Natsume put on him undid part of the seal which allowed him to use some of his power, but it took a while for him to figure out how to use it properly. You’ll need to watch the show for the rest because if I explained why Harutora had his power sealed, I would be going into spoiler territory.
