There was probably NO ONE properly cleaning those filters. 😔

I actually had worked at the lake city location back in 2018. I quit after only working about a month. My daughter's dad also worked there as well. He was actually there during the lake city fire.

Why were people still taking their dogs there. Wouldn't you check the place out first?

After the 2nd fire, no one takes his/her dog to them ever again. She prevented her employees from speaking up that's why no one knew about the horror story that was going on. I picked up my dog from them everyday and she seemed happy. Dogs can't tell the difference between safe and unsafe surroundings. As long as they get to play with other dogs, run around till they are tired, they are happy. Their rates were very affordable. However, we got what we paid for. Sadly, these also happens in other doggy daycare.

What happened with all the dogs?! You told the whole story, but didn't say what happened with all of them. Are they safe and okay? Only a few were mentioned.

Dog resort owner is a greedy liar. Anyone who still does business with them should be arrested for animal abuse and have their dogs confiscated.

I have had all breeds of dogs in my life including rescues and have never had a breed of dogs that found it impossible to veg on the couch and wait for us to come home.
These "doggie daycares" are a sham and just like this woman said, she was "pressed to find someplace"??
Dogs are perfectly fine on their own...
Any size of a facility is akin to a kennel .. it's actually quite traumatic with all of the noises and barking and strange people and other dogs.
One of the first jobs one will find if you want to volunteer at a rescue is to walk the dogs, to get them away from the incessant noise. The fact that these sham companies are charging people to put their dogs in these environments is the epitome of a first world problem.

This is terrible! How can someone run a business like this, "caring" for animals, and make it so unsafe?
Side note, but the reporter's way of talking bothers me: "owcome", "dinnent" (outcome", "didn't"). Can we go back to News school?
