A delight, in every respect. I listened to some interviews after Sir András and the Chamber Orchestra of Lausanne had performed together. The orchestra loved working with him, and he with all of them. So it was a very happy bunch working together, and one can feel it at the same time as the great joy of Bach. Thank you so much, Anson Yeung.

András Schiff is one of my favourite pianists, a beautiful interpretation of what in fact is only written for the harpsichord, so a difficult if not impossible exercise mastered with excellence. If ever a suggestion can be made, there is an obvious error on the third D major chord, first bar, next to a slight rhythmic piano versus orchestra deviation in the very same bar, which could be sound remastered as this has such a prominent position.

What spring is without fresh green, sun and flowers, is Bach's piano music without András Schiff.

Qué delicia ! Música genial, perfectamente interpretada. La dirección por el gran solista que es Sir Andras Schiff se limita a uno que otro gesto - todo ha estado cuidadosamente ensayado

what is the logic in arriving with a mask and then taking it off when you are actually closer to the others than you were to begin with? The others are still in Corona land and yet the soloist once he reaches the piano, is lifted onto another plane far away from any illnesses.

You need to communicate with the musiciens while directing from the piano ... you do it by look and expressions and this is just impossible with the mask... And ....by the way just listen to this wonderfull music 😉
