I have allways found the psycological aspect of Tekken to be quite interesting, and especially taunting as this might trigger emotions which in many cases affects the gameplay unless you know how to keep your head cool and won't let it affect your decission making. In most cases it's either make it or break it from what i have experienced and seen in tournaments and stuff, either the opponent will totally mess up after being taunted because he/she will let the emotions dictate their next move, or the person who taunts can all of a sudden totally lose all their momentum and lose whole games and even sets because they screwed up while taunting 😄 It's best to look at it as something fun and just brush it off instead of taking it personally as an insult as probably many people do even though the opponent did it for fun :) i look at it as fun for the most part but taunts can affect anyones gameplay one way or another, probably most people playing will be affected by it

I might get into tournaments again some time in the future. I will probably never stop playing tekken until Namco stops making the Tekken series, i’m in it for the long run

I'm tougher than I look Trust me, to get to Emperor you can’t use ki chargers that often, at least not against the same person, and b34 is only good if you can predict lows or use it to cause room for whiff punishments. Glad you enjoyed those moments and thanks for watching

MaoTW Thank you very much. Good choice to learn Alisa 👍🏻 she is such an awesome character to play and fun to dive into. I can give you some tips vs Whoarang. First of defensive play is the key to beat Whoarang, block punishment and sidesteps are important to beat him. Tip 1) Pay attention to key moves used by a lot of Whoarang players or in your case pay attention to what moves your friend likes to use and lab the moves to memorize the most optimal block/whiff punishers. Tip 2) Moves like the (Double Claymore) the PowerCrush move is often used by Whoarang players, this move should allways be blockpunished with Alisa’s F+3,2 (f+3+4) 2,1 which will give you a guaranteed 55 dmg combo. Tip 3) Other moves Whoarang players like to use which you need to be on the look out for are those super launchers with those rightkicks (4) going straight up into the air, the (Sky Rocket) and (Grand Theft) both these should allways be blockpunished hard with UF+4,4 to get a full launcher. Tip 4) On Wakeups, Whoarang players will often pressure you with moves like (Hunting Hawk) etc.. in many cases in these situations you can side quickroll then immediately sidestep into UF+4,4~b+2,4~(f dash) f+4,1,4 which is the most consistant sidestep launcher for Alisa (allways use this as ss launcher combo) Tip 5) When Whoarang has you cornered at wall pressure a good way to get out is to use db+1,1 Tip 6) Don’t let Whoarang wall pressure you :) and before that happens do a walljump with Alisa close to the wall by tapping b,b u+b Hope this helps a bit

I think at this rank such early on you should consentrate mostly on your own offense and not too much about defense/block punish yet, this depends a little bit on what character you are using offcourse but still i think offense is the best defense at this level with any character. The reason why is because your abillity to get high dmg combos on block punish deminishes if you only practice defensive gameplay all the time in your matches, the faster rate you learn your most optimal max dmg combos at any distance to the walls with every launcher from any angle, the faster you will take full advantage of your whiff punishers and your launchable block punishers. In-depth frame data and in-depth character knowledge is the most advanced stuff in Tekken and should be something you learn bit by bit over a long period of time. At your rank right now you should consentrate on your offensive gameplay, your setups etc.. maximize your combos, maximize your combo enders with/without walls, look into your sidestep moves and see how you can take advantage of them, consentrate on your counterhits to stop the spammers, your sidesteps, your wakeups, your quickrolls, your lowparrys etc.. your pickups, play agressive, hunt them down 👊🏻

I think I made a habit falling asleep watching your alisa videos, I love this character so much and I wanna get good at it.. but it's kinda hard trying to get over yellow ranks ( I reached saviot the furthest..) when playing on PC and getting stumbled 95% of my time of macro users, spammers or very aggressive players..

Also, my bad Alex 😅 Here in Norway Alex is mostly a male name, i do know that Alex is common as a female name in many countries around the world or often it's a nickname for Alexandra or Alexia or similar names and honestly i should have known better before i called you out as a male :) Alex is a nice name by the way. Now, about this combo… The combo from db+1,3 can be tricky sometimes, but knowing a couple things might help you on your way. First of all, when you do the db+1,3 and do the instant while running into the follow-up combo using ws123, this combo works best when facing the opponents directly (on axis) with both characters in-line on the same axis face to face. You can do it slightly off axis as well but not by too much, maybe by 15° off axis or something around there before it will get increasingly harder to pull it off. At this point, if above 15° off axis when hit confirming the db+1,3 it's better to use the d+4~1+2 combo instead after the instant while running since that will be a much more consistent combo to pull off from than angle. The full combo notations from this combo hitting off axis is db+1,3 (fff) d+4~1+2, f+2,1, uf+3,2. Most of the time though your opponents will be facing you (on-axis) when hitting db+1,3 so the ws123 combo is the combo you should be practicing and eventually fully master to max out the combo potential from this combo launcher. The secret to pull off this rather difficult combo is in the instant while running phase, the trick is to start buffering the (F) input fast as f.. as soon as you hear the hit sound and see the sparkle effects when you hit with the db+1,3. Then you will have this incredible forward momentum making you able to outrun the opponent rolling on the ground before you can almost casually pick them up with ws123 when you are close enough. The ws123 in it self requires some practice but it's the timing of the (instant while running) which is the absolute most important part of the combo. At this point, after been practicing the db+1,3 launcher and this spesific combo over the years playing Tekken 7, i can now do the pick-up part of the combo (ws123) 10/10 times in practice mode, while in competitive play i will probably land it 8/10 times, which is within a reasonably good limit of the success rate you need to be able to use this combo effectively in a competitive environment. When i fail to land this combos it's mostly my own fault and not the connection online or anything, it's the timing of the (instant while running) by it self that usually is the deal breaker. I will start doing that in practice mode cause unfortunately I will not touch online area in the game any more. at least for some time. it's beggining to be rather toxic for me.. lately I play just to get revenge rematch, I get frustrated because I don't understand why the players that I encounter play so aggressive, sometimes I can barely make a move, they just want to dominate the match within 5 sec and I hate that. and I watch your videos and I see something different, like your opponent does a move but then you get your turn. Also it's kinda hard to know what safe moves to use and when to use dangerous ones cause I don't have frame data - a big red downvote for bandai Namco for charging for a thing that should be in the game by default. - and with all that... I forgot to have fun because it is indeed such a fun game but this game on pc is a massive joke-it triggers me bad and it brings only the worst of me so I decided to quit playing online until I 'll afford a PSP - I hear things are rather different on it, like no spammers or cheaters, hope it's true. And don't bother excuse yourself for replying late, you reply as fast as you can cause you have a life and you are living it, I'm grateful that you are willing to answer me, no matter how fast - fast is relative. I'm about to watch an Alisa video now -falling asleep therapy by now - often I woke up because I dream your moves 😂😂 and immediately I try them. it. wish I'd discovered you back in 2021 when I started playing tekken... Thank you friend. Walljumps are a ‘universal’ tekken move that every character in the game has with slightly different properties. All walljumps in the game has the input (when close to the wall) b,b,u+b or without notations back,back,up+back Alisa has one of the best walljumps in the game in my opinion, it works really good to get you out of wallpressure 👍

Embarrazing for who? it’s only embarrazing for people who get triggered by it. Ki-charge and taunts are a part of my gameplay the same way taunt jet uppercut is a part of a lot of Bryan players gameplay. It’s fun to use ki-charge and it’s useful in a lot of situations, it really is an underrated move all characters in Tekken has. Alisa has one of the best ki-charges in the whole game btw, not only one but two in which you can mix up into some interesting setups that are actually pretty good. I don’t think it’s fair to blame me as a player when i’m using 100% tournament legit moves that i have been using since Namco introduced them to the Tekken series all the way back in Tekken 3. Ki-charging is risky as fuck as well so you really have to know when and how to use them, every single little hit or poke will launch your ass and take half your life

All walljumps in the game has the input (when close to the wall) b,b,u+b or without notations back,back,up+back
Alisa has one of the best walljumps in the game in my opinion, it works really good to get you out of wallpressure 👍

Embarrazing for who? it’s only embarrazing for people who get triggered by it. Ki-charge and taunts are a part of my gameplay the same way taunt jet uppercut is a part of a lot of Bryan players gameplay.
It’s fun to use ki-charge and it’s useful in a lot of situations, it really is an underrated move all characters in Tekken has.
Alisa has one of the best ki-charges in the whole game btw, not only one but two in which you can mix up into some interesting setups that are actually pretty good.
I don’t think it’s fair to blame me as a player when i’m using 100% tournament legit moves that i have been using since Namco introduced them to the Tekken series all the way back in Tekken 3.
Ki-charging is risky as fuck as well so you really have to know when and how to use them, every single little hit or poke will launch your ass and take half your life
