In this episode, we introduce a day trip for adults to Kyoto's Uji. Taking a short train ride from the heart of Kyoto, we arrive in Uji. We visited the Byodo-in Temple's Phoenix Hall, a super famous bakery where lines are inevitable, and even stumbled upon Uji's traditional crafts by chance. The "Kumihimo" braids became widely known through the movie "Your Name," so many of you might be familiar with them. I'd be delighted if this could be a reference for your weekend outings!
