De La Salle Days In Ireland 1970's

This footage was shot by John Cunningham in the 1970's in the De La Salle College Castletown in Co. Laois. It shows life in the boarding school before it closed to pupils. There is also footage shot in Faithlegg College in Co. Waterford & if anyone can add where some of it was shot please let me know. Many thanks to John for giving this to Paul McCoy for the reunion night. Now that it is online, hopefully past pupils and staff can view it and maybe make contact again. The footage is the property of John Cunningham and the panpipe soundtrack was added by himself at the time. So I have left it in its original state.

John Moyles & Dennis McLoone. Both sadly passed away in 2015.They do feature a few times in this video. If you pause at 13.03 John is sitting at his desk in the study hall.
