I’ve actually done similar. I used to work APBR rescue back in the late 90s. Flipping technique hasn’t changed a bit I see. Sometimes we’d put swimmers to hang on the boat to give it some balance when we did the flip. Damn that was fun times.
I had a 1959 Redfish upside down like this. When we finished a beer we would throw the empty cans under the bow. There must have been a hundred cans when the boat went under. Cans were floating everywhere. (1977)
I did that once in a kayak. Lost my phone. Went back in the morning to find the phone and found the spot marked by all the beer cans. Sober these days. One of those haha-alcoholism-funny-sometimes type stories.
@@thefinalkayakboss 34 years sober. I can’t imagine how much I would have spent on alcohol if I didn’t quit. I can’t believe the price of alcohol today just to purchase.
Would never choose anything other than Suzuki or Yamaha (ive only been around Yamaha few times and seen Suzuki but have zero boat owners experience lmao)
@@TheKetamineSquidyes and a cruise ship costs even more. Tf you talking about. The boat being pulled out is a 185,000$ boat. You can act like you’re balling on CZcams. But we all know you are broke af. And that you can’t even picture owning a boat or a trailer to move a boat 😂😂😂
Those Suzuki’s are quiet as heck. I had a friend put two 300 hp Suzuki’s on his rig. You could have a perfect conversation with them at full throttle, amazing performance and real common sense engineering right down to flushing your engine with a regular garden hose. Attachments already built into the motor.blew my mind.😂
As any person who's ever had a boat at one time or another we have forgot to put the plug in the back stupid overlooked but it happens but the one thing you do learn is that when you move forward and you get on plane then the water will start coming out and in this situation if once they got it what you look like they finally got it up and they get it on plane then the water will start exiting if the plug is out which the probably is not going to be out because that would be making it sink at this point I guess the biggest thing is just to get it up on plane or they could get it near a shallow area where they could get it onto a trailer or some type of horse that will get it out of the water so the water can get out of the hull

Awesome job the guys on the water don’t get enough credit 🙏🏼💪🏼
We agree!
Like to have seen the original boat capsized/flip.
Nice save !
Looks runable on either side !

I've done this before, now start pulling fast enough with the drain plugs out and you can actually get it floating again.
These guys are something else to watch, awesome job

Did it sink?
😂👍

No it capsized but the bow kept floating (maybe some empty cans that didn’t float off helped)

Rich people problems
I was thinking the same thing
not really, but i guess it depends on what you call rich. a small powerboat like that wouldn't cost much at all in comparison to a yacht

Haters. They are what they are.
@@TheKetamineSquid You might want to rethink the cost of those boats because it actually IS comparable to a yacht...
That left turn was critical. Good job 👍.
Need the whole vid
😂
Those suzukis are some funky sounding outboards. Looks like they get the job done tho.

The 140s are the most fuel efficient bar none.

CZcams is cleaning up their comments...
I love seeing your smile, it brightens my day every time.
That was sick! The correction when it started to tilt too. What a pro.
And that’s the day that boat learned to ski.
Nicely done! 😀
This is a masterpiece!
Nice recovery. It came up nicely!
Now the trick is to not let off the gas until you can get that boat on a trailer or lift.
Or have a secondary boat alongside it with pumps.
@fliprider562 nah, if you have a small hole keeping the boat up at speed prevents water from getting in fast. Stopping will sink it quick
That's how it's done! Awesome job
LOL... I've been in both situations. Life is fun, but challenging.
Nicely done!
Bang up job!
What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.
That's some serious power
The feeling of recovering something like that would be incredible
Now ! Goose it -go go go!
Good job. I’ve had to do that several time and help dewater some pulling it in tow until we could get pump to it.
That’s a strong line
I'd expect that tie point to pop off before it flips. I'm surprised.
No way there wouldn't be enough resistance it's in the water
that is me trying to get up on the wakeboard 😭
Amazing power to get that done. That’s a lot of water weight you were fighting.
Nice job boys!
Nice work looks like they have done this before.10/10.
I think so too

Tugboat operator must be a fun job.
That is oddly satisfying.
Bro in the is like:help im stuck!
Fine job! Would like to see getting it back to shore.
Well that was E-Z
When it sank a minute later, at least it was upright.
When they have water in them have the divers pull the flapper valves in the back of boat and it will drain as your towing it
The Suzuki's are hard at work
That’s a strong ass rope
N1 🙋🏼♂️
You yanked an anchor. Shit still sank
I'm former coast guard , same flipping technic with two Merc150 hp on rescue boat 😅
Nice save
Sea tow ………. Never thought about getting Cito or insurance for my boat now it’s time to start thinking.
Exactly why we don’t have a water bed.
