I of course know Lisa from "How Can I Ease The Pain" and her many years of work with Luther Vandross. I still see Lisa in and around my native Brooklyn doing concerts, mostly free to the public. One of the 4 or 5 greatest pop voices of her era, and certainly the most under appreciated.
Lisa Fischer is an incredibly vivacious performer with a truly remarkable voice - her solos and duets, notably with Mick, are a gift to all of us - thank you Lisa, and to Mick and Keith for writing those great songs!
'20 feet from stardom' very recommended, the difficulties these diamonds in the rough, these so close but so far away superstars, a lesson in tenacity and endurance.

I was lucking enough to see her perform in the UK a few years back. Such a lovely lady who is softly spoken when she speaks to the audience and such a powerful wonderful voice. She is mesmerising to watch.

Lisa is a force of nature. Remarkable. Love her and Mick duo, Mick looks some crazy old guy from the nursing home who decided to go on stage. But he is great as always.

They marketed her too similar in style to Whitney and too similar in focusing on the high note like Mariah. She is fantastic in her own rite. I know she has had success... but not like she deserved. I'm going to buy some music from her on itunes.

She made some very unwise choices . She was at Her best backup for the rolling stones but it was a dark decision..she was gorgeous one of the Greatest voices ever. She wasted on the rolling stones. You could tell she wanted to micks right hand girl. While He is phemomal in some ways. He is a dark man who has no heart for anyone. The once Amazingly Beautiful Lisa is old soon to hit the Grave. She has a big problem with God only the Lord Jesus can deliver Her give Her peace. If she would soften her Heart.God will fill Her with peace and forgive All her sin which is enormous God have mercy on Her.
