As part of my engineering studies i had a course on innovation, and a huge part of the process was the concept that "there are no stupid ideas".

You might say that but don't forget that the people making these products managed to scam atleast one person into buying them..
Apparently those companies aren't bankrupt, therefore i would argue that they might just be very very niche. The "curl a dog" for instance is just a gimmick but there are some people that just enjoy using gimmicks to make their ordinary food look more interesting. It might be stupid but if people enjoy it, i still see it as a win.

F1 drivers definitely dont experience 9 Gs on a regular basis. That is fighter jet range. However they can experience 9 and way above in a crash, but that is not regular basis.
