the love baer has for his wife really makes me like him. hes really just a dude playing games.
Baer and Alyse's marriage from the time I first discovered him has been the pinnacle of relationship goals.
In Greek myth Chronos was told by the Fates that one of his children would be destined to overthrow him. So to keep that from happening he ate each of his children. Zeus was the youngest and his mother Rhea in an attempt to save her children tricked Chonos into eating a stone instead of Zeus. Years later Zeus would return and cut open Chronos stomach freeing his siblings and they would wage war against the Titans ultimately winning.

Chronos mentioning that he didn’t eat them is most likely a reference to the story of Chronos eating his children after the Fates prophecied that he would be killed by his children.
Yeah he really did eat his children. Hades and all, except Zeus
I assume that you have to give people more nectar before they get into the hot tub with you
Some may even decline the first time until you talk to them more, who knows
This is actually why you have to unlock the incantation to see the relationship meters. It tells you whether they'll accept or not

Kronos already controls Time. Now he wants to take over the Fates job as well? So that means Chaos would be the only one left who could oppose him?
I can’t wait to see where the story goes from here.
Am I crazy or was there a "reload" option for those skulls that Bear didn't notice that would've been nice, instead of having to chase down every skull mid-fight.

Having watched both Baer and Dodger playing this game it is AMAZING to me how this game's story (or maybe I should say storieS) move in wildly different paces according to your progress.
Like, Baer would be, to me, the most skilled player (to put it simply he took 2h30min to pass Skylla, which Dodger couldn't do in her 1rst 7h30min stream) and thus he saw Cerberus and Chronos before and had events regarding the family first, like meeting Hades with Melinoe.
Dodger isn't as good a player, imo, but she just plays a lot more (6h streams instead of Baer's 2h30min average). As a result she accumulated more resources, talked a lot more with the NPC's she did already know, gave a lot of gifts, progressed more storylines, had two bathscenes already and even unlocked the surface and the incantation to STAY on the surface, unlocking new storylines, new NPC's and new bosses Baer has yet to see...
But then I come here and look! Baer got a new scene Dodger never got regarding Hades! Because he got to Chronos more times than she did...
it is so cool how each storyline advances on it's own time without relying on a single timeline AND YET they don't conflict or steo on each other's toes...
Chronos is a rough fight. I sont know if its just practise on hades in 1 but Chronos is a tough git. Ive beaten on fear 12 at this point, 40% speed boost and even regular one is rough.
I've no complaint though I'd be dishonest if I didn't at least ask how come the Hades II series after the initial upload hasn't been early-access? I often watch VODs at the witching hours like I am right now (it's 3:20am in NYC) and found myself falling a tiny bit behind. Still have dual DD2 VODs to catch up on too. Been loving this game's artwork, story arc, gameplay, fights and soundtrack!
I mean, yeah, that's fair. Although it is crazy how much content this game has for early content. I can understand why maybe Baer forgets to put the Early access warning as it barely looks like it. Even the placeholder art is pretty amazing!
This early accesst really is just: "We need to fine tune some things and would like to get feedback from the community before full release" (which is great, I'm not complaining and I wish more games did this).
@@conradoccaminha Actually when I mentioned the "early-access" I hadn't meant the game itself even though all your observations are valid but rather as part of Baer Pile early VOD viewing perks. I just realized in a DD2 upload you've yet to see that Baer has been under the weather and immediately felt a touch selfish pondering such. Hoping he feels better rather soon. I could see how my words could've been interpreted the way you meant.
