What has Tim Cotter (event manager) been doing for the last 50 weeks? What happened to the 13 flaggers that Davy Combs says travels to each event? I am not sure how many flaggers are needed for LL's, but if you have 13, the number needed should be easy to bridge. How does the largest race organization need flaggers for their championship race? Parents and riders deserve a higher level of commitment. True sign of a monopoly - no care or concern for the safety and integrity of the national championship. You saw the yellow flag before the drop off but there was also another yellow flag waving going into the corner before the downhill. During the interview Jason saw the replay he knew the fault was all his.
Yeah on first look it did look like a flag wasn't out, but another clip I saw he definitely was waving the flag before Anderson got there, I think the other view showed the AMA official run over with his Red Cross flag and maybe that angle made it look bad, the dude on yellow is the first guy I seen do it properly, they need to be better kitted out though, high vizz some sort of identification, again here's a sponsorship opportunity for a company if, AMA and the promoters really looked at it. This flagger bs is crazy. I used to referee youth futbol in the late 89s early 90s. I played club ball as well. Point is they paid center eferees $15 per game and side line flagger/refs 10 per game. I would do 5- 6 games Saturday and if was a tournament 6 games a day for 3 days. Everyone who referees new what they were doing. Youth futbol leagues paid this money. Turn that to motocross and why can't something similar be the norm? It doesn't have to be a high paid job. A little competence and people needing a fun side hustle would go a long way

Good evening from Minnesota, I'm Jason, I've been into and loved motocross ever since I 1st rode a friend's kawasaki 80 when I was 11, now at 40 loved it ever since. I've worked at spring creek flagging occasionally for 3 years now, yes the flagging situation isn't what it's all cracked up to be, you're no longer in control of spring creek you're in control of ama as wheels on the ground with just a medic flag on the bottom of section 20 and a headset , at the meeting for wheels on the ground crew, and out of that 10 person crew each one of us had an AMA official that we was paird with, told that you only wave your flag when the official says wheels on the ground 20 if it was a situation of a blind side then when clear I'd say wheels on the ground 20 clear. The ama person was in control of the yellow and blue flag and the yellow lights and would have to call code 1 down rider then code 1 clear goes up to 3 being really bad, well the person I was paired up with had the wrong button deal for the lights, wasn't calling out the down riders then when the Yellow lights are flashing I was told to wave the shit outta the flag no matter what! And at one point the lights were flashing so I'm going to do what I'm told well the boss lady of flagging at spring creek came over to me and said why were you waiving your flag bc you shut that section down, so when I had a chance I walk my ass up the hill and say what's going on you had the lights on when not supposed to be, to find out she had forgot she had it on. The waiving the blue flag at not even lappers, even watching highlights in the whoop ama official waiving a blue flag at chase and hunter and was like wtf!? Spring creek flaggers we all had to be there at 6am, and which ended up being a 12 hour day we none of us spring creek flaggers never got any free lunch let alone water, spring creek supplied us with what little water they had, I had 2 bottles of water. And 1 other thing the spot in the middle of going up Mt Martin I would find a safe spot for yourself and the rider but still be able to do your job at 💯 but coming down the hill you can get Hella momentum coming out of that corner and a spot I felt was best with the experience I've had ama came over and want me in the spot they wanted, and it was a very dangerous spot and I've done alot of sections and at the meetings was told we've had 1 flagger die and 2 with broken legs so yea, what would be in your mind? One more thing, most of all the people who do flagging at spring creek have done it for a long time, more than me, some some for 18yrs. I'd say I don't think its the spring creek flagging crew, bc they got some good dedicated people! That being said I love your show! Keep up the awesome work! Much love! Hopefully this gives some explanation

Too simple, and cheap these days to set up a private WiFi network over the track just for the lights, cameras, and flaggers or staff to communicate very quickly to make sure the lights are set right ASAP. Was it MOTO 1 in 450, the broadcast also did a small "feature" on each of the top ten guys, even if they were not in a battle. I thought that was cool. Now, if they cold extend that, and over the series, just give some of the other racers 10-15 seconds of the same on camera, even if just once. Example: Here is Grant Harlan.. he broke his hip at 2023 MXoN, he is from... he is sponsored by, he has been a top 15 guy etc etc. Duringthe "boring parts of the broadcast, have the commentary pre-pared, so if that rider gets in a small battle for a position etc, you have 10-15 seconds to get them on TV.

You are right. This is Hunter's best chance is this year. Unless, in future he is running 2nd or third and the top gets taken out with a DNF or injury. (Which sucks) but many championships have been won like that... like Chase when Eli Tomac blew out his Achilles heel.

YES! Warning lights!!! With cameras. Too simple, and cheap these days to set up a private WiFi network over the track just for the lights, cameras, and flaggers or staff to communicate very quickly to make sure the lights are set right ASAP.
Was it MOTO 1 in 450, the broadcast also did a small "feature" on each of the top ten guys, even if they were not in a battle.
I thought that was cool. Now, if they cold extend that, and over the series, just give some of the other racers 10-15 seconds of the same on camera, even if just once.

Duringthe "boring parts of the broadcast, have the commentary pre-pared, so if that rider gets in a small battle for a position etc, you have 10-15 seconds to get them on TV.

hunter was afraid of getting beat by deegan so he moved up to 450 now what will hunter do when he is a 3rd to 5th guy and deegan is breathing down jetts neck. let deegan get comfy on that 450 .. js hunter does not have what it takes to be a champion 450 guy. not enough experience on the 450 it shows. remember deegan was challenging hunter in the 250 class before hunter moved up and i truly dont think he can fight off deegan ..

I am not saying others have not gotten injured and made a championship easier to win. However if 2 out of 3 of your championships were handed to you then in my book you are just the best second place guy. Until you prove you can beat the best, you are not the best.

Whoever wins the championship had the best season. Therefore they're the best rider that season. Your argument would make more sense in increments. Jett is the best this week or this month. I mean Sexton was staying so consistently behind just waiting for that moment he would win 2 out of 3 of his championships. Sexton knew after his multiple crashes while he was sitting in first trying to be the fastest, that the best place for him was second because Tomac had a weak Achilles' heel. That is next level championship winning when you just sit in 2nd and wait for 1st to give it away.
