- Wolcen is a fantastic diablo like isometric rpg game. Imagine skyrim with more exploits and an even worse launch. So today the Spiffing Brit is going to play Wolcen Lords Of Chaos. There are of course 1000s of guides and character builds out there which will make your character naturally overpowered. Instead of those developer intended builds we are going to be using perfectly balanced rpg exploits to become the richest person in the game with an infinite money glitch. We are then going to be using the infinite gold exploit to create the most powerful spell which our character should not have access too. So today The spiffing brit will discover if wolcen is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits or if infinite money!
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold. I just realized that the stock-images have a custom watermark for spiffco...
When he started paying for the unwatermarked versions way back people missed the character that the watermarks added so spiff made his own watermark to slap over the images. Its a bit silly but its just one of the quirks of this channel's community.

All wrong, so it says spiffco now but before it said like shutterstock or something similar, company saw that while spiff made money on the vids without the company consent to use images so they took away the videos ability to earn money. Now spiff adds this over ANY image so he can say hey, its my image and not another companys
@@cwaigallen909 I mean he still needs to pay for the license for the images (unless they are openly licensed or he took them), adding watermark to things doesn’t give you ownership (claiming ownership to an image you don’t have copyright to is IP infringement, so he can’t actually do that unless he took the photos). Similarly, if the image he got into trouble with were openly licensed, companies wouldn’t have had claims to them even if they watermarked it.

yep, i bought in when this game was open world and looked COMPLETELY different, they changed the game dramatically several times (not for the better).... i didnt even want to start this game after about1.5 years not even touching it and seeing the reviews of the launch. but i did aaaand boy this was an underwhelming expirience.. that games was in development for so long, yet it is so freaking buggy and unresponsive as if they had never even bothered playing it themselves... my advice, stay away from this game and its developers
Irrespective of the "game development is expensive" argument, now that they have managed to make a bombload of cash from a financially successful release, they can afford to hire a couple more staff members to make improvements come out faster. The motives for a developer to make more money aren't necessarily profit-driven, they can also be investment-driven. I'd like to think a team who have spent so long already making the game are also eager to fund further development in a significant and major way, especially since people clearly want it.

a better spell is the ice spear, you can basically spam it with the staff at the same time. its also a stronger spell, and with pierce it just goes through enemies.

This game looks absolutely stunning. I imagine once the bugs and glitches are fixed that it’ll be pretty amazing.

Actually the game has been in early access for ages, the devs just changed the game contents so many times that the game was never once the same. They also ripped off their entire kickstarter

@@Tecnoninja54 Basically the game they promised was not the game we ended up getting, there was a LOT of stuff they cut out or changed, to the point the game is practically a diferent genre, is like if someone offered Witcher 3 and you got Skyrim instead, both are good but very different games, I still like Wolcen, and if this is what they promised from the start I would have been perfectly happy, but it wasn't.

@@narutorasbat They didn't hide that though. They kept very up to date and had roadmaps. They told us what they were doing and we all had a good idea on where it was all going. It's not like they went straight from Kickstarter and the original Alpha to suddenly releasing this without any word or anything.

“Magic is overpowered” yet melee is currently broken to all hell even without a certain node that has the wrong value. This game is so buggy, yet so fun.
I don't even know if its melee being overpowered as much as rage abilities get damage from weapons where as spells do not.
Only way to increase spell damage other than lvl is with + dmg to spell casts.
So it's super hard to gear for.
As far as i understand ailments are really OP. If you can stack em to 30 i dont think anything in this game survives that.
Don't know if I'd go as far as "so fun", the gameplay is slow and sluggish and I can name 10 ARPGs off the top of my head with more enjoyable combat. It's pretty sub-average, and pretty much EVERYTHING is broken. Certain builds aren't functional at all and has you dying on repeat, others have you pressing 1 button and speed through content while everything dies around you without effort.
Before the ending I was struggling to give it a 6/10, after the ending I thought a 0/10 was generous.

found an exploit in cities skylines last night: you can use water treatment facilities to feed hydro-electric dams, the combo produces more power than the water treatment plant uses. thought of this channel as soon as i discovered that.
People used that back in the day already.
Even with simple outlets, dams are broken.
You can go one step further then that, you can make a step system of dams and put water treatment plants at the top followed by the water cleaner items in each step and then water pumps at the bottom and it will not only give you infinite energy off of every damn, but will also clean the water and allow use to reuse the water for the city.

Works for sewage too. I power my city with it.
I can never understand how dams work in that game. I place it over flowing water and it generates a bit of power... then floods the whole map... and stops producing power.
Instead I use dams to create basins in ocean maps so I can build a city on new terrain once the islands run out.
Hey Spiff, have you ever looked into Kingdom Come: Deliverance? I've tried multiple to get into it and it seems like there could be some decent exploits
Eh really its just stupidly poor game balance and design in most parts. I played it quite a lot and its just far to easy to become super powerful and super rich. Honestly you can just walk around late game naked with a wooden club and smash through armored opponents as if they were wearing paper. However the game does look really nice. I will give it that.

The turret ability if you hold the button down you will hold the turret and you fire it like a minigun. It's a feature.

This approach you had to Wolcen’s launch is somewhat (even though I myself haven’t bought it so far) a very positive reaction to a messy game launch; I’ve been around the launch for PFKM and it was utterly broken and glitched “beyond repair”. I almost nurtured a feeling of hate for the game and devs, but hey, they immediately got to work and 4 months later a literally unplayable, beyond-repair game was on its way to become the next exponent in cRPG gaming. Seeing you not immediately bash on Wolcen for it’s rocky start (that was actually beyond their expectations) makes me feel very happy indeed, and I thank you for pointing out why imperfection doesn’t immediately spell failure. This went way deeper than I imagined considering I’m only commenting about like 3 mins of the video, but the mark was made.

Dear SpiffB, I am pleased to tell you that I have finally just picked up some of your renowned Yorkshire Tea. I grabbed both red and gold, but went through so much trouble here in America. I'm sure it's on ever corner over there but here it's not. so I had to order it online, but to save on shipping I went out of my way to pickup at Walmart, what I don't understand is why they have it in some warehouse nearby but not in the store. what a mess, this tea better be worth it, I am a lover of both coffee and tea, sometimes iced tea, and in this wintery New England well it would be nice to have some tea since coffee you can have only once a day. Cheers! I will let you know if this tea is as good as you say it is with a subscription.
