    Thanks for this Mr. Houser! Things are so expensive nowadays (especially here on the west coast...☹️). Bought hay 2 weeks ago for alfalfa $20/Bale and oat hay $16/bale -- cheapest around.
    Pretty darn cool that Junior Nogueira was in town. Ever since I began my journey rodeo I have always loved how it is like no other sport. World champs are just everyday people, down to earth, kind, and always want to help ya out!

    3x3s are the way to go! Always cheaper! Even if you don't have a tractor you can always cut the strings and unload by hand from the pickup! Assuming it's compressed good!

    Hey Barret, great video sir! Quick question, how do I know more less what’s the right feed for a horse? I’m getting closer to buying my own horse for the first time. Is it just trying out different things?

      It certainly depends. I’d go for an equine vet recommendation to start and then go from there.

    How long can you leave horses turned out a day eating grass? Anything to watch out for?

    • @BarrettHouser
      @BarrettHouser  Před 2 lety +1

      You typically have to start them out with a few minutes each day and work up. You want to look out for foundering. Google that. Hope this helps.

    Good morning
    Do you think with the price of gas and diesel going up seems like every week, will it hurt team roping this summer overall

    • @BarrettHouser
      @BarrettHouser  Před 2 lety +1

      It definitely could. I know I’m going to stay a little closer to home for a bit.

    Minimum acre per horse?

    • @BarrettHouser
      @BarrettHouser  Před rokem +1

      Depends on the land. Depends on if you’re doing all turnout or stalling.
