The biggest problem I see with DBFZ is that a lot of the developers can't decide on what the actual vision of the game is supposed to be. Throughout the history of the game there's always been this recurring theme of the developers adding in new characters that are really good then they nerf them and introduce other new DLC characters that break the game then they get nerfed; then the cycle repeats itself. A really good example of this was with the fusion-meta, everyone hated the fact that the fusion characters could basically TOD anyone in-match (multiple times in the same match if they wanted to) if 2-3 of them plus LC21 were on the same team so they ended up getting nerfed but now you have the same problem with SSGSS Vegeta, Jiren, Broly (Z), Beerus, Saiyan Saga Goku, Cell, etc... where they can one-shot any one of your characters whilst also building an immense amount of meter. Especially with this new patch the developers really destroyed the risk-reward-work system that was previously apparent in earlier seasons of the game as the current v1.33 meta really values degenerate gameplay instead of actual skill.
anytime you nerf a character , another one is going to take his place, sounds like there isnt any reasonable solution for this by now. fusions would sell regardless since they are the most popular characters in the lore of dragon ball
I love Dragon ball FighterZ but what beat me the most is hitboxes. All the Hitbox are Sqaure and Yes i even to Test the myself and It is indeed square hitbox and all characters has more than one depends on the Animation like for Gotenks. His Air 5L is a big square for his punches. I hope this helps. (I play on switch and PS so i know how to suffer)

Dbfz is by no means perfect, and the mashing players are extremely annoying but at the same time you have to admit a lot of these clips are also just player errors.
