- I lowered the rates in ARK so much, to the point that simple tasks such as crafting a saddle/taming a dino or building a smithy takes you hours of grinding.
This is the final episode of this series where I tame a Giga, a Carcha...and lose my sanity :)

edit: I initially said that this challenge would have 4 parts but scrapped that idea, because doing anything past this point is exactly the same as any other ark playthrough(I can easily farm and get everything with the dinos that I have)..soo no boss :/

@@BeansPower already closed the series cuz I got an argy, anky, beaver etc and.. at that point, everything can be obtained easily.. it just takes WAY longer than usual
masterful video son. while the challenge is considered a failure, some must simply be left to the true masochists.
perhaps for your next challenge, a new game or an unexpected spin on your goals in ARK.
I was creating a dodo-only playthrough myself, however i soon found myself simply not enjoying the grinding aspect of the game, and leveling up each dodo individually is also tedious. i had never really enjoyed ARK personally, taming dinos was really its only alluring factor to me and unfortunately it was not enough for me to sustain a challenge, especially with how much grind is required to progress and the reliance on fast/flying dinos to traverse the map in a timely fashion. not having the latter caused the already tedious search for resources all the more tedious, as you now must walk all the way back to your death point. if only you could ride a dodo...
add a mod and you can ride dodos, ty for the video idea ❤️(ps. Thank u father BUT the challenge is deemed a failure because I wanna do things irl aswell.. not farm 4000 metal for a saddle.. plus a few k more for cannons and cannonballs)

It was definitely interesting however, as I've said, doing everything that's left is just a time sink rather than a challenge :/

Tips for tameing a carchar: use the midwhipe to get more points in weight then bread rexes to get babies and feed the babeis to the carchar
mindwipe is hella expensive on these rates, hence why I didn't craft it, also the tip with the baby rexes is good so thank you for that however the carcha didnt want to eat like.. anything 🤣

@@ofatinyratt i saw that, they just dont wanna eat, especially if u trap them in the conventional giga/rex trap, that's why I "designed" that slightly bigger trap with the behemoth gate, which did work in the past just not.. this time 😡, anyway I'll make sure to try taming one without a trap next time
have u heard of the hunted? ark's hardest and best mod(some parts even was integrated into ASA), i dare you to beat it in the hardest difficulty!
yes I've heard of the hunted it does seem very interesting but i want to play another mod before that(playing the hunted on these rates will allow me to grow a beard 😎)

ngl i think og official was harder than this. all rates were 0.25x,no explorer notes, breeding on some dinos was even longer than it would be on 0.25x rn,

I.. can't remember, prolly medium render distance, max resolution scaling, medium shadows and everything else low/disabled, also start ark with no sky effects

the reason you didnt get anything when u killed the alpha raptor with the wyvern is because you used the breath to kill it which means it was still in the raptors body when it died but if u bite it to death it would go straight to ur wyv

what's the best way then? Cuz this is how I got used to taming it and it doesn't really work 😡
@@baronwuztaken just leave it or frag it to a better Spot, mane sure nothing is nearby and the drag corpses over , and as soon as he sniffs, run away and Look for the next corpse
Best corpses are gallis, carbos and trikes

@@baronwuztaken ye it was the same for me, but he eventually stopped, then i luckily found a acro with a baby,and the acro baby instantly put it to green (played on asa) rex and yuty Babys also put it to green with 1 feed

thats exactly why I put taming to x6, because there is no difficulty in waiting for things to tame, it's just wasting time(in my opinion)
Sense you're not doing the boss. the next thing you should do is tame a Titanosaur
4k metal 4k hide + quetzal, i could definitely do it but it wouldnt be that interesting, since taming him is grindy not difficult :/ (ill think about it though)
@baronwuztaken To make it more difficult. You could build a base on the saddle or something. Just a thought though

@@baronwuztaken yeah ark mobile is quite easy EXCEPT for brutal mode... a pursuit that's supposed to give you 50 xp gives you 3 xp on brutal... xp gain is reduced by SO MUCH. It took me 3 hours to go from level 1 to level 2 on brutal so I just quit 😂.. Now, whenever I play ark mobile, I play on hardcore + hard difficulty (max dino level is 300)
Theres absolutely nothing harder than mobile if ur device can run ark.

its weaker than a giga, however if you kill 100 things its better than a giga

nop, he needs to smell it then he will try to bite it, resulting in him getting tamed, idk why it didnt work then but i've got so fed up i decided to stop trying to tame one anymore, from what some of you said you don't need a trap so next time i'll try no trap

@@Nooooobbbb17 no, you don't need to knock out the carcha, you need to give it bodies, if u have a body he won't attack you, only sniff to take the body, u cannot tame a giga without a trap 💀

@@baronwuztaken one tip mi friend for healing whit 0 regeneracion try to cold debuff and just drop your food and consume some fish meat im not sure fish meat ark pc heals you 5 hp restore 10 hunger that the way I heals hardcore+brutal ark movil
0.25 harvest rate ark movil you are playing dificulty brutal lower 50% harvest rate using hardcore add another 25% low harvest rate so basicaly the same 0.25 rate +dinos 450 lv around of the isle + dinos lv 700 caves
