The key to getting close to God like that is humility. Bob was a very simple man. God likes that. Not full of himself but humble and hungry for God.

I had a dream one time where Bob Jones was sitting with me and I was besides his grandson (I have no idea if he has a grandson it was a dream) and he told us he was passing his mantle onto our generation and then he also gave me a shoulder brace to throw a base ball.
That dream never really makes much sense to me, but I always remember it. I had it like 10 years ago.
