Just got my S9 ultra yesterday, this tablet is a beast so far, the screen is vibrant and the sound is great,that S pen does damn near everything. The form factor isn't too big, like some youtubers would have you think. Btw, GREAT VIDEO... SUBSCRIBED..🎉🎉

The experience of the tablet ist great overall. The screen looks gorgeous with vibrant colours and smooth scrolling. The system performance is great. Websites load quickly, everything is responsive and snappy. Battery live ist great too. The Snapdragon 8 gen 2 seems to be very energy efficient. I started with 65 % of battery load two days ago an i am now at 35 % with moderate usage. The S-pen is an exeptionary experience with no noticable latency when writing or drawing. I didn't see that before with a digital pen.

if you do solely web work (browsing, emails, google suite over Microsoft word, etc) you don't need a traditional laptop if you have one of these. in fact samsung is bundling the keyboard cover with them for free as a deal rn

the coolest part of the LTE models is that you get a full-fat phone as well as 5G connectivity
The official accessories, except for the S pen (which u get for free anyway) are a huge waste of money. A cheap case from Amazon and a decent mini bluetooth keyboard would do the job just fine, if not better.
Agreed, however, I'm buying into the ecosystem. OEM accessories are usually premium and work as intended out of the box. It's a nice feature for peace of mind and practicality 😁👍 whatever works!

I was in a huge debate, this Ultra or a solid Chromebook. I ended up going Chromebook Plus (Acer 516 GE). I wanted a backlit keyboard, and the ethernet port, plus Tons of ports was vital to my use case. Clearly touchscreen is in my need case. If you looking to drop $1200 ona tablet, I implore you to consider the solid, and high end chromebooks. Hard to beat a native Chrome OS experience in 2024. After you add the cost of this tablet, plus accessories, and still NOT have real ports, you will discover most of you will find the Higher End / Premium chromebooks are a better option. By better option im factoring ports, screen quality, and productivity applications.

Is the S9 Ultra keyboard backlit and if it isn't is the S8 Ultra keyboard backlit when you plug it up with the S9 ultra?
Tip for the higher refresh rate/battery usage. Have it turned on for a week for the phone to understand how you use your phone/tablet. Then switch to power saving for a week then switch back. This will help you maximise your battery usage on adaptive mode where your phone/tablet will know what areas to have higher refresh rate and drop down to where its not needed.
Is there a front facing camera test somewhere that I missed? (Zoom, Skype, etc).

no, the tab s9+ has its own 5g capabillities but no data sharing which is a little faster. samsung does have its own version of autoconnect called phone link tho
This is all cool. But how do you prevent apps from running in the background? And connecting to the internet when we don't want? In the S, Fold and Flip phone, when you swipe up, the apps get completely killed force stopped. Which clearly means that they know that when customers spend little more premium prices, they have to provide the privacy privileges. How to get that on s9 ultra?

I didnt even mean to or really realize but I have a ton of samsung things. I have a samsung watch, s9 ultra, a smart monitor, and a zfold 3. I actually wanted to get a toy and the zfold5 isnt different enough from my phone so im waiting until the 6 comes out. In the meantime I got this tablet.

Not a 100% but I showed it in the video., If you were OK with it, not covering the camera, then it should be fine.
How is the battery life
I wanted to trade in my S8 plus for the ultra tablet but Samsung had no 5G/ SIM card version in the Ultra tablets. That sucks because I need SIM card slot. I'm hoping they will have some soon 😢😢.

Right seems like if you take a little dremel tool to it and slightly take away a little material it will fit like a glove and be unnoticeable that you even modified it..

I installed a 2TB SD Card on my S9 Ultra and it reads and writes to it without any problems. Mine is a 512 Gb Model so I now have 2.5 Tb storage.

The S9+ is 0.4 mm bigger than the S8+, so the same protective covers won't work, I've tried.
I'm trading my 8 Ultra in for a 9 Plus. I find the Ultra too big to be practical for traveling. Even moving around the house and on lap seems awkward. The notch bugs me as well.

In the Philippines, the Tab S9 series with 5G has dual sim, 1 nano + 1 esim.
be warned the free keyboard case without the detatchable keyboard my tablet did fall out of the case and landed smack down on the screen , lucky i had a temper glass screen protector which saved my screen , apart from that its a fast tablet which has a working spen from start not useless like the ipad which needs bluetooth to use and you cant flipe up to close apps the finger is the only way to shut down an app on the ipad pro
i have an iPad pro, and the Samsung S9 is slower than the ipad, and the streaming on netflix/disney/prime etc is very bad, the frame rate is bad

The S9 Ultra is definitely a powerhouse BUT i'd have expected a much higher level of its display brightness!
Even on my Galaxy Tab S7+ the maximum brightness seems to be higher!

I have no clue about Android or the Dex feature. Can somebody answer me this question, when this tablet is in Dex mode can I connect a Pixel phone via USB wire and then drag photos from the Pixel to the tablet like I could with a Pixel and a PC computer? Especially when I have no Internet connection.
