Two thumbs up. Standing ovation. I'm 68 years old and have worked with composites for a good long while. Your project, in it's entirety, is DAMN impressive!
Jesus Christ! I work with carbon, and I've never seen anyone take it to the level you make. Not in automotive, aerospace, or otherwise. Just what I needed to see to inspire me to level up. Maybe in this lifetime, if I'm lucky.
Incredible build champ! I been building jetboards for a while now. Some do 70km/hr.. So I have a fair bit of respect from what you have done! Brilliant work!!
Very nice. Love the concept. Jet board and foil in one module. Amazing skills with the carbon fiber and battery build. Just Awesome. Have you thought of incorporating a flap mechanism into the foil to increase the lift at lower speeds and/or reduce wing size for higher speeds? That might help improve efficiency.
Awesome and beautiful work. Always love your boxed foil designs and this one is above and beyond! Enjoyed watching the construction and the seeing what went in to making this awesome machine. So the plan is to create conversion kit for already built gas powered jetsurf boards? Or will this design be released for public consumption. Is it surfable? Meaning power on to the wave back off the throttle and let the foil do the work and surf the wave? Is it possible for the motor to regen the battery while on the wave the water being pushed through motor? Thinking might be possible due to the direction of the fin blades unless there is a way to switch prop fin direction. Sorry for the long comment that should have been a email.
Hi I have building a Jetboard from MHz kit for 2 years. Small tips for the motor replace the watercooling with larger hoses and cool the MGM Esc extra. I manage with 16 kW when I cool the outrunner outside with viscosity spinges. With Magnetic switch have you installed because with everyone falls when jumping and diving. Cheers Chris from Germany
Hi, for the kill switch I used "Apico lanyard kill switch", you have to take care to seal the bottom. Just a question, how many poles did you set in the controller and how many degrees?
@@Brucecreations77 20 poles and 15 or 17 degrees. Take care of the c11 cable that quickly breaks the cable. I fixed it with hot glue because I already bought 4 cables. But the cable for the kill switch is on the side or did you stick it in? Oh, if you want to apply the setting, you'd better delete everything and never connect it to another laptop !!!
hello, very nice project, I am 3n in the process of making a jet surf with 3 engines, I wanted to know what material is used to make the joints, greetings
Hey Bruce awesome work I have been waiting for some to make something like this. I always wanted the efoil but then esurf/Jetsurf looked like a whole another sport. So I see you have the mast open to bring the water to jet pump. This is pretty amazing now you don't have to seal the motor from water corrosion. Not sure if you are in Europe but if you sell boards or molds I would be interested in know what the price would be.
how did you calculate and make underwter wing? in aviation: lots of airfoils, they chnge rom fuselage to wingtip, there is wing reverse twist. byt eye you may catch one degree, but for hydrodynamics 10 degre minutes will mean a lot. i did not see u use micrometers or anything. how did you make them? simply copied??? you ame make just a tiny assymetrical and get aelerons effect.
Nice video, you always wondering me ! I long time want make a two piece molded board like this. One question missing me always and this video not answered my problem :( How you glued together the two piece the board top and the bottom ? (it's hard enough and seal the water)
Thanks, I used this material www.easycomposites.eu/xencast-px30-soft-flexible-polyurethane-rubber But for correct sealing a good shape of the gaskets is very important. They must be collapsable.
the intake at the bottom for your water jet propulsion is intriguing and beautiful but i cant help but think that, that now adds more weight with all the water inside the water foil pillar. Wouldnt it also cause more drag because the water no longer flows around the pillar, but into it ? both these concerns combined would slow it down considerably? idk, I'm not an engineer just curious.
It is a water jet so the principle makes sense but the way it was done is probably not ideal. I would be interested to see what the efficiency of this set up is.
Does the jet drive suck the water through the lower opening on the foil? Otherwise you have no more propulsion when the board lifts out of the water. BTW nice video
Yes, there are no problems about that. It works also in steady condition if you elevate the board by hand. When you are running, the speed push the water through the mast reducing the power needed for the suction
If you are searching for a worse supplier and terrible quality MHZ is your choice! I used the 64 at first, but it last more or less in 10 minutes (the stator had a terrible braking). Of course they didn't recognize anything. I had no choice so I bought the 80. Also the Scorpion Motor give me some problems, I asked to the technical assistance for some info and they said to me.... I'm sorry I never used it I don't know (we are discussing about a 1K euro brushless motor)
Brucecreations wow that’s terrible: Didn’t expect that! But you got things working all the same? Looks awesome, can you share some more details of the driveline? BTW thanks for the awesome feed!
Fantastic work, very beautiful. Do you intend to put the engine on the foil? Do you intend to sell in jetboard version? Congratulations on the fantastic job. a masterpiece.
@@silvanoguglielmoni non nell'immediato vorrei ho in mente un paio di migliorie per renderlo più fruibile ma prima devo finire un efoil classico ed un paio di progetti in ambito kitesurf

@@Brucecreations77 that would be awesome.. would make it so people who already have a board wouldn't have to waste the money for the electric conversion kit, could just somehow attach this to existing gas board

I don't think you can propel the vehicle with the water jet alone, without an impeller in the water.

How do you prevent the weave from fraying when cutting your carbon? Like on your symbol / name.
Hi, in this project I used cured fabrics for the graphics, so you don't have any problem of fraying
