Peugeot 1.4 HDI Oil and Filter Change

Today we change the oil and filter on a 2004 Peugeot 307. With a 1.4 HDI Diesel engine. This engine was used in a lot of Peugeot and Citroen vehicles and the process will be very similar for these. TheBigShed Episode 18

Sir,sorry for disturbing i have one question,what viscosity of oil did you use 5w30,0w30 or 5w40 and how many litre did you pour in engine 1,4 hdi.thank you for your answer.

Hi there this 2004 model took 3.8L of oil I use 5w30 in this climate

nothing wrong with them! iv had a thew and never had a problem! can't say the same for german cars! and others money pits..citroens are right at the top now 😃

My Hdi has 238,000 kilometre - I change oil every 3500 rarely 4000 - Alway 5 (30 or 40) NEVER NEVER 10 (30 or 40) since the turbo of these cars uses engine oil to lubrricate the turbo super sspinning shaft. Great reliable car by any meassure .
