I don’t know why people put down the southern dialect!! I have one and damned proud of it!! Elvis really never completely lost his southern accent!! It made him who he was!! Nothing like being brought up in the south!! Some of the most genuine people you will ever meet!!
I am an Aussie, and I just adore your accent❤. When I was touring the USA with my husband in the 70's, our favourite region was the South, for rhe people and their accent😂 I love Elvis' accent in his first four movies, the Southern accent was more pronounced then, bur in spite of becoming more cosmopolitan in later years he never lost it completely .😊😊😊
Jo and Billy are such a adorable couple. I love to listen to them talk. It doesn’t matter to me what their talking about. If they’re talking about. It’s fun to listen to them talk. I also love to listen to them talk about family and their chickens.
"My whole weapon is a body. I mean my whole body is a weapon." -Billy "Elvis will talk about not being able to touch hands with body, er body with hands. Just got this show off the air, boy I tell ya!"-Elvis Lol 😂💙
My Aunt was a tremendous Elvis fan. I remember going to her house when I was like 3 or 4 and hearing Elvis singing Proud Mary on the Madison Square Garden Recording. I remember thinking how incredible it was. My aunt had a brain hemmorage when she was a young adult and ultimately was paralyzed. She walked with a cane and brace or used a wheelchair for many years. When I started listening to Elvis all the time and visited Graceland, my Aunt gave me some of her Elvis albums which I still have. I'm sure I don't have as many albums as some people but I do have a lot of them. They've brought me a lot of joy through the years. In the last few years my Aunt lost her eyesight and she passed away a few months ago. When I listen to Elvis I will always think of her.
y'all how wonderful it would have been to have spent Elvis's best years with him, you are so blessed when you talk about him it helps us all keep his beautiful spirit alive, Thank You
I think once he came home from the Army, he matured! His voice got deeper, and he seemed to think about what he was going to say before he said it! Big difference between before 1960 and after!
Did ELVIS love the Red furniture ? I think personally it should have remained Red as it was when he died .. Thank y'all for telling us about ELVIS home life .❤️
Thank you Billy, Jo and Danielle! These are stories that only you can tell! It takes us along with you both as you lived your life with Elvis and fills us in on those moments we would never hear about if it wasn’t for you sharing and caring!
I noticed in Elvis on tour some one fixed Elvis coler on his jumpsuit and Thay had a cig in there hand did Elvis sute ever get burnt with a cigarette ever and if so what happen
If you see a picture where Elvis is wearing his watch on his right hand, take a closer look and see if his hair is parting on the correct side. A lot of times, when you see a picture on the internet or in a TV show or in a magazine, there is a good chance the picture has been flipped left for right, probably because it was cropped or perhaps in an attempt to bypass a filter which might recognize copyrighted pictures. I have something I have wondered for some time.. I was in Memphis the day Elvis died and was at the gates when the hearse came down Elvis Presley Blvd, but then about 1/2 block away sped up and drove through the church parking lot and come what was the back entrance of Graceland... I was back in Memphis in 1981 and drove into the church parking lot and drove up to the back gate and took a picture of it, but then when I looked from there to the street I noticed a lot of trees with humps and dirt and almost like dirtbikes etc had been driven through it, it was growing back, but was wondering if that happened that he (and you etc) were able to drive through that area without being seen from the street... I could imagine it, and was wondering if that did happen...
Jo your hair looks great. You are so pretty . I love seeing y'all joke around and talk about the past with Elvis. I could just listen to your stories Al the time❤️
I remember when he was on stage someone grabbed his ring off of his finger an he grabbed it fast.never forgot that.God keep ur arms around Lisa an her son.
Reading "Elvis and the Memphis Mafia"!!!! So far the book is interesting, learning some new stuff and re-learning the old stuff. Thanks Billy. Love you all!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Love seeing Billy & Jo always teasing each other and being so affectionate towards one another! 😍 Just like “Teenagers In Love!” 😘 ❤. You talk about Elvis saying y’all needing to go “to the home for the silly”. We always say “we need to be sent to the funny farm!” LOL. 🤪. Getting our questions ready but saving them for the Q & A in August! 🙋♀️. Love y’all! Keep TCB ⚡️🕺🏻👑.
Thank you so much for answering my question about the boat scene. You are all always so gracious and generous with your time and energy when it comes to precious information about Elvis. We love you for it. ❤
Hi everyone love the video when I went to Graceland in September I just image how much fun and great times Billy and jo had would of love to see elvis alive their at graceland
Hi Billy, Jo and Danielle - I'm left handed and wear my watch on my left hand ! That was a great question and something I never noticed it before but now I'm gonna be on the look out for it !!! I hope you all have a blessed week!! Sending all my love to you all - Charlie.
It’s easy to see why Elvis loved you both so much! You are such down to earth and kind people. He knew you loved him for “him” not like the “Hollywood” fake people. I love my southern roots. The best singer in the world came out of the south.
Hello to all the Smith family, that was really funny Mr. Billy, " my whole body as a weapon " 😊 Thank you for another great video! Grace and Alain from Canada ❤
I heard Marty say that once E fired all the guys and Billy had had enough so asked Marty to take him to the airport to take him home to Memphis,so off they went,E found out and called, and Billy made E say sorry to him as it rattled him so much, before he decided to return to E rather than go to Memphis!Billy must have been very miffed to have pushed E,perhaps this story is worth telling as we all know E didn’t apologise that often 👍
Good questions - and mine are: What would Elvis think of today’s Electric Vehicles? Internet/Online everything? And what wad his favorite Mexican food? Did he eat other types of food?
I see some concert videos recorded by fans of Elvis joking around and he'd say ya'll sometimes. I Loved his southern accent. I have relatives in North Carolina and when I was a little girl I wished I had their southern accent. I was from Chicago and my relatives from the South said I had an accent.😂.I love your videos you are all the real deal,I feel like I'm watching friends 😊❤
Love your channel. I was thrilled when I first came across y’all about 3 years ago. I’ve often wondered who gave Elvis his manicures and pedicures??? His hands were so beautiful 💙
Why have you not written book on your life with Elvis? With all of your memories of Elvis . I’m sure there would be more then enough to fill a book. I do love watching your videos, because you tell the stories exactly the way they happened. I love that Elvis never forgot where he came from and always interacted with his fans, unlike most entertainers, who could careless about their fans. I still watch Elvis concerts on You Tube. You can still feel that charisma coming through the tv screen. Lol! He was and is one of the most handsome entertainers I’ve ever seen. To this day I don’t know of a entertainer that has the good looks and charisma, that Elvis had. I wish I could have went to one of his concerts, as I was only 17 when he left . Thank You for sharing your memories with all of us Elvis fans. 🎸✌️ 🎶🫶🎸✌️ 🎶 ✌️🎸✌️🎶🫶
You are so right about Elvis' charisma. It blew me away when I saw him on stage in 1976. I posted a video with my photos on my channel with a description of what it was like to see Elvis close up in person. Would love to know Billy and Jo think of it if they had time to watch it❤
I’m glad to see Danielle in the videos 😊. I’d like to ask how Billy and Jo felt when Elvis and linda redecorated Graceland in 1974, the rooms were so fashionable and unique how did they like it? Thank you ❤. And were they upset that fans never got to see the red dining room and living room when Graceland opened to the public?
Hi Billy and Jo, You were the last people to have the honour of hearing Elvis sing for the last time the night before he sadly passed away. You must cherish this moment and I understand it is an emotional subject but how proud does this make you feel? love the videos!! Matt
I just would like to make a comment about Elvis’s accent: I have an Italian Accent and I have been in this country for fifty years and don’t really use my first language to frequent. However, I still have an accent, sometimes goes away and other times comes back. With that being said, accents really does not go away Regional or Foreign language especially if you learn a language after one is 12 years and older. Elvis may have spoken without a Southern accent at times but I’m sure it was always there. Ps.it gives a Person a unique charm as Elvis Had. Billy,Jo and Danielle, Thank you for the video as we enjoyed as usual! Arrivederci!
Great questions. Everyone is looking great today. 😊happy Sunday. Going to try to garden this afternoon. If my back and leg pain will allow it. Always enjoy the Elvis stories.
Hi Billy, Jo and Danielle! Greetings from Brazil. 💚💛 First of all, I have to say how I love to watch your videos. You are all very warm, kind and you're always laughing and joking with each other. I watch the videos from EFM and MMK with Danny, and I just love it! Always good hearing stories from you guys. What a life! Thank you from being there for us... the Elvis fa(n)mily. I wish you a long lifetime fulfilled with joy. ❤ Well, I have 3 questions. 1° question is about Linda and Elvis' break up. I don't know if anybody asked this before, probably yes, so pardon me... but here it goes: I'm reading Linda's book and I really sympathize with her but I wanted to ask... She said in her book about when Elvis and her broke up and she still had his credit card for a while before Vernon cancelled it, so she bought some Christmas gifts and a last gift for Elvis, which was a yellow diamond ring. She said she handed it to Billy, because she trusted him, and asked him to give the gift to Elvis, along with a letter written by her. She also said in her book that Billy later said to her that he gave it to Elvis and he was happy with the letter and gift but he was also quiet and seemed sad. Linda also said she kept in touch with him a few times by the phone, after the break up. Did you, Billy and Jo, sensed any kind of real sadness and maybe regret from Elvis about the break up with Linda, at least short after their break up? And did he seemed upset about Linda's relationship with David Briggs, having any kind of animosity towards him or he was okay and had just moved on? 2° question is: Did Elvis ever tried to write a song? He loved poetry so I can imagine him wanting to write something. Do you know if he ever wanted to develop writing music? 3° question: What is your favorite and dearest memory about Elvis? I hope you can answered my questions. Again, thank you for being there for us and sharing your Elvis memories. Elvis still is, and will remain being, the best entertainer this world would ever see. And he was blessed having you guys around him. Take care! Lots of love. ❤
I love knowing that Elvis still used his real southern accent when he was with ya'll. I noticed the change in his accent too when he was on stage sometimes. Like his " I's " for an example would change once in awhile. Great Q&A. Thank you Billy, Jo, and Danielle. Love it!!
Question: Billy, if Elvis was still with us, do you think he would have written his own biography and tell us the true good, bad and ugly? (Assuming he had gotten clean from pills and The Col wasn't in charge). Of course he would probably need your help in remembering some things, accurately. I'm sure it was all a whirlwind to him. We are so blessed to still have your and Jo's good memories. Bless you and your dear family.
Just got home from Memphis about two hours ago, and I sure thought of you all when I was up at Graceland. I so enjoy all of your stories, and think you’re all so down to earth. My kind of people! Hope you all have a wonderful week, and take good care! ❤❤❤
Elvis did have a southern accent in the beginning. Lost most of it in his later years. Ever now and then he would go southern again. Like the old saying You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy. His fans would love him no matter what accent he had. Still best singer ever❤ Thanks for sharing love it!
Thank you for showing us what Elvis was really like! We grew up believing he was sad and lonely. Thank you for sharing the stories of love and laughter!
Thanks for another great video Billy, Jo and Danielle. I'm Australian and as you all know we have a very distinct accent ourselves down here. I hope you don't have any problems understanding me when I finally meet you all in August and ask my question. Lol. Take care. Your fan from Oz.
My question is “I know Elvis was close with his mom Gladys, did he ever get verbally upset with her that you saw and if so who was there at the time? Thanks for trying to answer this question!
Im right handed and wear my watch on the right hand. Just thought id put my two cents in. Don't usually comment but I decided to say something. Love the channel. You guys were soooooo funny today!!
Hi to all three of you, Billy, Jo and Danielle, You are all very very loving. Elvis was very fortunate to have you as family, and you were blessed to be part of Elvis’ family, what exciting lives you led! My first question is about Patsy, Elvis’s double cousin… would she have pictures of Elvis‘s granddad or family pictures that she could share? Question number two… Does anyone know if Red and Sonny West Attended Elvis‘s viewing or funeral? Thank you so much 😘really appreciate all you do! 13:56
I, too, would love to know when and how Elvis learned to play the piano; I always assumed he pounded out chords, but in truth he’s quite proficient. Did he play by ear or have formal training for awhile?
I have asked this question before, and am interested in this. They didn’t have much money, and likely couldn’t afford a piano, so how did he learn to play?
Who was Elvis' tailor? There is a video of Elvis rehearsing for the International Hotel show in Vegas, I believe in 1970, where he was wearing a really nice colorful shirt. Where did Elvis get his clothes from? Did a tailor design the clothes like the shirt I mentioned specifically for Elvis?
Hey y’all love this channel just wondering I have ask Danny but maybe he doesn’t want to answer it’s ok if y’all don’t but when Elvis was dressed for his funeral the suit he had have high collar like his other suits thank y’all for all u do
Hi! Do think Elvis' parents were happily married? What did Vernon think of Elvis's womanizing? Was Vernon faithful? If Gladys knew of Elvis' behavior how would she have dealt with it?
Hi billy and jo and daneille you’re videos are amazing fantastic and awesome too watch I love 💕 those stories about elvis too and I find them so interesting too I love 💕 listening to elvis as well too elvis was an amazing fantastic entertainer that ever lived tcb ⚡️🕺I always live elvis elvis fans matter tcb tlc tce ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️ 7:03pm thanks tcb ⚡️1:05pm

Question...During his concerts did Elvis ever get embarrassed by the women screaming things at him? Lol 😆 I bet he Loved it!!
Jo, your hair looks great!! Looking good girl!!

Great to see a new video!!! Makes me smile. Question: Did Billy and Jo have keys to Graceland? In the car did Elvis ever sing along with the radio?
No we didn’t, We could always get into a certain entrance.I not aware that anyone else had keys,24 hour guard.
Jo your natural hair color looks beautiful!
You're so sweet and very kind answering all the questions patiently.
Why was it that Elvis Liked his Eggs, Bacon, Burger, Steak and most of his Food Burnt?
QUESTION: Lamar Fike seems like he was quite a character. What are some stories about Lamar and/or Elvis and Lamar? Thanks.
Did Billy ever meet June juanico? Or did Elvis ever mention her? Love you guys!!
If you see Elvis wearing his watch on his right arm in an Elvis movie, you can be sure the negative was flipped, which is very common in TV and movies as it gives the editor and director a little more wiggle room when polishing the final product.

Yes Elvis accent changed, I think because he started making movies. So he tried speaking properly. He did have Southern drawl and it was strong.

Maybe the watch was actually on his left wrist. The negative of the original photograph may have been reversed thereby showing a reverse image.
Just got home from Memphis about two hours ago, and I sure thought of you all when I was up at Graceland. I so enjoy all of your stories, and think you’re all so down to earth. My kind of people!

Great vid, y'all had me laughing 😂
Also love Jo's hair in this!
Thank you for showing us what Elvis was really like! We grew up believing he was sad and lonely. Thank you for sharing the stories of love and laughter!
Thank you for the information learned something new! Thank you for all you all do for us !
I was wondering did Vernon cheat on Gladys? I've never heard anything 💯 Love you all 💯😀🎼🎤🎶 Appreciate all you do💯😀🎼 Long Live Our King🎶💙
Hi Smith's
TYFS . Be blessed and safe.
❤
My question is why did Elvis keep his room so cold? And did you have to wear winter clothes when you were in there with him?
I often wondered that too. Maybe things got too hot in there sometimes, LOL 😮😂😊
@@Patracat Lol!😂

During one of his concerts Elvis got so tickled he couldn’t stop laughing. What got him so tickled?
Thanks for another great video Billy, Jo and Danielle. I'm Australian and as you all know we have a very distinct accent ourselves down here.
I hope you don't have any problems understanding me when I finally meet you all in August and ask my question. Lol. Take care. Your fan from Oz.
That was a good question about the boat. I wonder about that every time I
see that
My question is “I know Elvis was close with his mom Gladys, did he ever get verbally upset with her that you saw and if so who was there at the time? Thanks for trying to answer this question!
Sowing the seeds of love tears for fears
Billy, what can you tell us about Elvis and Ann-Margaret’s relationship? Give us the juicy stuff.
Im right handed and wear my watch on the right hand. Just thought id put my two cents
in.
Question number two…
Does anyone know if Red and Sonny West
Attended Elvis‘s viewing or funeral?
Thank you so much 😘really appreciate all you do! 13:56
When and who taught Elvis to play the piano? Also why wasn’t the spelling corrected on his headstone?
I, too, would love to know when and how Elvis learned to play the piano; I always assumed he pounded out chords, but in truth he’s quite proficient.
Did he play by ear or have formal training for awhile?
I have asked this question before, and am interested in this. They didn’t have much money, and likely couldn’t afford a piano, so how did he learn to play?
@@tomlivesay8407 There are Photos of Elvis playing piano with His Mama and Daddy... I think by ear but would love to know
Hi
Who was Elvis' tailor? There is a video of Elvis rehearsing for the International Hotel show in Vegas, I believe in 1970, where he was wearing a really nice colorful shirt. Where did Elvis get his clothes from? Did a tailor design the clothes like the shirt I mentioned specifically for Elvis?
Your videos are too short! Love listening to these!😊😊❤😊
Hey y’all love this channel just wondering I have ask Danny but maybe he doesn’t want to answer it’s ok if y’all don’t but when Elvis was dressed for his funeral the suit he had have high collar like his other suits thank y’all for all u do
Hi! Do think Elvis' parents were happily married? What did Vernon think of Elvis's womanizing? Was Vernon faithful? If Gladys knew of Elvis' behavior how would she have dealt with it?
