Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.
Can you help with the reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. Very hard to get a reliable s0urce here in Australia. Really need!
Yes, blizmyco. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.

Microdosing helped me get out of the pit of my worst depressive episode, a three year long episode, enough to start working on my mental health.

Micro-dosing does not usually involve anything "highly dangerous and highly addictive". Also narcotics and psychedelics are not at all the same.
Do you not consider amphetamines as "highly dangerous or highly addictive"? American military has been micro dosing troops since WW2 and American medical "professionals", and I use that term lightly, have been dosing children with amphetamines for atlas 50 years. I and several others are proof these practices produce drug addicts.
That is highly dependent on what you are micro dosing now isn't it?
You could micro dose meth if you wanted to. Do not know why you would. Just that micro dosing is exactly what it means.
Not all pysvhoactives are good either.
@dianapennepacker6854 but in 2024 when people say micro dose they are normally referring to psychedelics. True that some psychedelics r very bad and can actually kill you. 😊
It pretty much goes without saying that micro dosing refers to psychedelics
"goes without saying"... Sure. But my post was because in the video he says that people do it with "highly dangerous... Etc" substances and that just isn't true.

Thank you. I've just added all these to the blender. I'll let you know what happens tomorrow.
Around 1995 or so I spent a year micro dosing psilocybin mushrooms. Not enough to get blasted but enough to lightly feel its effects and still maintain my daily routine. I do wish I had kept notes about the changes I experienced but they were all good at a micro dosing volume. It resolved some depression issues I had been wrestling with, it ended my dependence on alcohol and other drugs in order to face the day. It changed my entire outlook on life and the world around me and the results stuck with me when I finally stopped dosing. No withdrawals, no cravings I just stopped doing it one day because I felt my journey had run its course. I think that more people could benefit from this but legality probably stops them along with all the horror stories. I am not saying to go do it, but if you do and you keep it at a micro level you may see more positive change than you expect.
Micro dosing wasn’t a thing in 1995 how’d you come by that. Did you just think to yourself I’ll just take tiny bit here see what it will do. Back then they had no clue they were good for you yet
@@JaredFarrer Microdosing has been around longer than you or I have been around. In the last 10-15 years it got a name attached to it and all the cool kids in silicon valley took the stigma off it but it was always around long before that.

When taking Lions Mane -

2. Make sure it's either USDA certified organic or EU certified organic or you might get some that are grown in areas with heavy pollutants.
3. Abdominal discomfort.

Lsd and shrooms aren't particularly dangerous either
I actually went on a psilocybin retreat in Jamaica. Had three doses. I absolutely recommend it for anyone over the age of 21 that checks with their doctor first. At my age, 62, I don’t intend to ever take it again. There was absolutely no addiction worries and it was highly therapeutic. Not actually that much fun as I was working through a lot of trauma.

Everything can be addictive. Coffee. Porn. Weed. So also Mushrooms.
Psilocybin is very much an interesting drug, many say it opens doorways in your mind. Two things I experienced while on it.
I could access memories of events that happened in the distant past of my life, things that I had long forgotten about, it was astounding ! And, to my surprise, and my brother who was watching me, I stood in front of a full length mirror and I could access facial muscles that I never knew I had ! After about ten minutes of this, I had completely changed the actual shape of my forehead and eye lids, my brother was freaking out more than I was. All this is really not that surprising, because it gets neurons firing that are otherwise dormant, so yes, interesting things can happen with certain drugs. To me, Psilocybin was a very very interesting drug, because it allows the mind to operate in ways that are normally not available, the exploration of the self with this stuff was absolutely fascinating !
I've done shrooms before. I've also (unlike most people who are big shroom "enlightened" people) been through a legit "near death experience", though there was nothing "near" about it but idk what else to call it besides dying in hospital and being brought back. And let me tell you, it's not even remotely the same.
Sounds like you were literally just hallucinating lol but hey if it makes you & your life better & happy, more power to ya 🙏🏼
@@shy404usernotfoundhave you tried them since
@@shy404usernotfound Ego death and dying irl are obviously not the same, but thanks for telling us.
Shrooms are helping millions of people to a better health, calling it "just hallucinating" is such an arrogant statement. I seriously doubt you tried them.
@shy404usernotfound Ego death happens quite often with LSD, so I’m sure a high dose of psilocybin could do the same, since both are 5-HT2A agonists which is what mediates their psychedelic effects. It’s terrifying, but once you come back to reality, you have a new perspective about your life. That terror gives you appreciation for being alive, but it doesn’t always work in a positive way for everyone.
@@Sniperboy5551 No, death is not common at all from LSD, in fact it's nonexistent. You are a flat-out liar talking out of your ass. To die from LSD, you would have to take hundreds of doses at once. Event then you would likely survive after a bad trip.
Claiming shrooms are highly addictive shattered my confidence in the competence of this video.
highly dangerous is a stretch, extremely addictive is just outright wrong. they are literally used to combat addiction.
Actually though, even the most basic research would've shown its actually used to cure addiction and isn't considered addictive whatsoever.
And right before that it was claimed that "meditation only removes more time from your day."
Meditation can provide many benefits to the mind. It's just not as quick and easy as taking a pill. Good results often take time and energy.
Right? Like lets just state opinion as fact. Mushrooms are SO not addicting, and hardly habit forming.
LSD, can be psychologically addictive, because of how many perceivable benefits there are for most. 😬

I have MS, a neuro degenerative disease, that destroys myelin on the nerve pathways in the brain. My neuro doc told me to drink more caffeine, to help stave off "sundown" syndrome, where my brain slows down over the day, making the symptoms worse by late afternoon. It works. i'm like that and may explain why i never got married. i could remember arguments word for word and they'd never go away. it's not fun
I feel you bro, my wife is the same lol
Its annoying to be confronted to your own contradictions? just grow up, take responsibility and say you've changed your mind if that is the case
Isn't nicotine a nootropic? Lol
It is an insecticide.
@@jeffhaskett2766 Nicotine is good for you! It's neuroprotective. However, cigarettes are carcinogenic.
Yes, it's one of the only commonly used substances that actually has compelling evidence suggesting cognitive enhancement in healthy individuals. Nicotinic acetycholine receptors, specifically a7 and a4b2 play a significant role in modulating focus and executive function.
Not a nootropic by the original definition though.
Ive done studies on nic and it like all things has benefits and negatives althought i will agree the added chemicals pair chemically with nicotince to make it more addictive anr those chemicals also are worse then nicotine @astralascendance
@@hoppy23 what are the negatives?
Short answer: When you are dumb enough to eat funny mushrooms, strapping an original Nintendo Game Boy to your forehead also doubles your brain power.
I've heard that overdosing on creatine can lead to kidney failure. I've heard that from ER nurses who have encountered it with bodybuilders.
I have been taking Nootropil (Piracetam) for years. At first it affected the hearing part of my brain. Now I get a better memory. My friend took it and he said his eyesight got better.
Did he say that, or did he actually compare it to prior eye exams? The biggest issue with Nootropics is wanting them to work , then ending up biased. Not saying either of you is lying, just that it is very hard to really know without some heavy independent testing. A lot of the time it is just thinking it is working, leading to us spending more time studying new things, finding new hobbies, etc which lead to natural increases in neural capabilities, and we point to the nootropic rather than what we have been doing since taking them.
How did it affect the hearing part of your brain? In a good way or a bad way?
I took and can now orgasm on command.
@@HicSvntDracones Yea, placebos are oddly effective sometimes.
Joe biden is taking them. They are doing a bang up job with him
I believe it's pronounced 'Noah-tro-pics'. Interesting vid!
Nice to see you include the old Boston state house at 25:54. 🙂
Just want to say that phylisybin is not addictive. I have used them for a year (micro dosage) with great effect and the desire to use them disappeared all of a sudden. So i don't use them anymore. But the good effect is still there 😀
Abuse is defined as continuing to do something that is harmul. If there is no harm involved then there is no abuse.
too much of an innocuous thing will make it harmful. I've learnt that the hard way lol
@@sweetnesscanwin589 if it's harmful, how can it be innocent?
@@Dave_of_Mordor Maybe this example will help. If you drink too much water, it will kill you, even if you pee it out. Difficult, yes, a lot of water, but that's an extremely innocuous substance
Thanks for giving us the best videos of knowledge thoughty 2 I’ve been watching you before you had a mustache and enjoyed every video you made thanks again
I get so excited every time you come out with a new video
Wow, no one complaining about AI thumbnails yet, good job everyone! Enjoy the video ❤
I commented. And I noticed it’s a different image
Been waiting on a new video from you Sir. Your videos are my sleeping material 😅
IG?
Love your vids! Been watching for years! I would love to hear what you know and think about the new weight loss drugs that are around now such as ozempic?
Aah Thoughty2, the breadth of your content and depth of your research is always a pleasure enjoy ☺️
9:51 this explains why when I make a drink I call "Toffee" for Tea and coffee I don't have any jitters like I normally get from straight coffee
Feels like I been waiting on a new video forever
Though I would love to experience the benefits of nootropics, my coworkers would freak out at my glowing yellow eyes.
Okay, I'm on the carnivore diet, so plenty of createne, i take ashwagandha, vitamin B complex, Active Magnesium, as well as Ginko Brahmi. I think that I'm doing pretty well in this department of nootropics. I was so happy to see you included Ashwagandha. Its my favourite. I also eat Salmon 3 to 4 days a week. Lots of omega 3 fatty acids.
I love your content, but I am a little saddened by the widespread use of AI generated thumbnails. My eyes glaze past them because they all look the same and soulless. There are a lot of amazing graphic designers and artists out there who make interesting thumbnails. I wish more youtubers would invest in them!
That means paying someone, unfortunately AI is making it cheaper and takes seconds 😢
u must be an artist, this picture is cool 💀
@@malikgordon1399if you want a world where humans lose their own abilities just to save time and money, that's on you. But. Be careful what you wish for.
AI is not good long term.
@@malikgordon1399 not at all, I just appreciate what people do, and not what AI can perfect.
Absolutely not. Try lions mane for a few weeks daily and it’ll convince anyone.
Best mushroom in the world in my humble opinion brother.
Can you recommend a brand and your dosage
lol can’t sleep when taking lions mane
@@enfamy_OG the brand... lions mane lmao, and dosage just chop it up and throw it in some food. you're thinking way to much about it. it's like eating normal mushrooms.
@@TheWuSlasherI'm guessing they were thinking more of a pill form.
That was surprisingly accurate, mate. Well done!
Thank you Aaron. Great Video. I learned so much.
It's called racetam
thumbnails really holding down the quality imo, just weird to look at for how good every one of your videos are
All these AI images were interesting when they were new, now they just look…. Cheap
This was eye opening and very informative. Thank you
Laughing to myself….my uncle use to call me newt…perhaps he wasn’t even aware that the universe was laughing and in time I would realize, I am “Noot!”…..Thank you for playing your part so well 42!
Nothing beats eating meat n veg! Simples!
I pooped in the furnace!
I know one thing, I'm trying to get to sleep and now you have me craving coffee! 😂😂😂
They worked for me when I was having mental fog. Had trouble remembering how to spell effectively, couldn’t really form sentences very well and would constantly lose count when counting things.
Hi thoughty2
Hey thoughty2 here
Thoughty2 you went overboard with this one. Got me so informed I am feeling like a sorcerer.
