@Wallmersbacher Actually he did write stuffs for FOB but then were later scrapped. And seeing him play in The Damned Things, he holds his own.

@acledfloyd he said the lefty les paul was a '69, as you might know, 60's guitars are incredibly valuable, high quality guitars, especially customs (which that was) which is why I assume he would want it even though he can't play it

I got this one it’s junk, came with a plastic ( I guess) nut after a year the strings 10’s cut they’re way through the nut right down to the frets. Now it’s unplayable due to fret buzz.

I would assume (this isn't fact sorry) that he got offered the deal from Fender and since Joe has always been a tele guy he said hell yeah. That would be my best guess lol.

@jmfrechay He didn't smash it in the Nirvana sense of the word. He probably hit it with something while moving around onstage. Like this SG he also broke: he didn't realize the ceiling was as low as it was, and he ended up smashing it through the plaster roof.
The Damned Things are pretty good I must say.
