    It's great how you pack so much reasonable distance into such a compact space. Creating a mining scenario makes so much sense.

      Thanks for the comment. The original track plan is 3 feet x 6 feet
      It had a second loop on the up grade, which I had to remove because of limited space where I store this layout. Sorry for the delay getting back to you
      I will be 85 years old this January 2020, a little slow with the computer!

      Track--from Walthers PECO #552-500
      Locomotive--- an old N-scale Life Like SW switcher which I scratch built cab to fit over the frame
      Mine Cars-- By ROCO HOe #34499--EURO Train Hobby Inc. Short Hills, N.J.
      use this number for the mine cars 34605
      I had to modified the cars to look like the ones used in the Anthracite coal region

      Thanks for the comment, the photo does not show the outside of the model,
      it is about 12 inches high, and has cut outs on the side were the tunnels are

    I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else needs to find out about model railroad layout try Panlarko Amazing Railroad Planner (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my brother in law got excellent results with it.
