This is one of the few kitchens that actually looks good and livable before the makeover
I think the red will date it really quickly. The rest looks good.
There is one problem with this kitchen: the splashback that is behind the cooktop actually bubbles up and melts from the heat of the burners... I have the latte coloured version in my kitchen and we have to rip it out and lay tiles instead.

Nice kitchen makeover. However, deciding to cut out her voice and place music instead was not good. If she had something to say why cut it out. That editing just spoiled the video for me

I would say they did a good job,but I prefer the previous kitchen, just need to do some painting work for the walls.
A few of the episodes that I have watched have the same problem where the audio cuts out....

the old kitchen had really plain colours and it was very empty and stuff like that. I really liked the new kitchen

How much would this 'budget makeover' cost? We've changed our countertop to engineered stone a coupe years back and now we do want to upgrade our kitchen cabinet. Is it possible to keep this countertop?
My family and I moved into a new house this year and it had that acrylic splash back and we found out from my uncle who’s a tiler that it’s actually illegal - you have to have cement sheeting behind it (or behind tiles if you choose tiles) or you can have stainless steel sheeting around as the splash back. The acrylic stuff also just looks god awful anyway
NTC Productions I suspect in your case may be illegal, though, looking at this one, it may be a little to rule out so early that the existing board behind the flame isn't a fire resistant board, the splashback being stainless steel shielding the combustible splashback and on top of fire resistant board may just get it over the line...
The green accents dont go with red. Should have used more ceramic and steel.
6:41 you could have mad them the women her self said that she wants more storage space and I think that could have been better if they were cabinets I know they are so high but sometime looks don't win

Where is her voics
Jet again voice problems. Common guys it's third month in a row with same issue, buy new voice recorder, such great job Tara and other guys are marking and its just isn't good that you can't hear what they say in a video. Such a shame.

The video is a month and a half old, with many comments about the unprofessional audio, and it's still not fixed. I guess that just shows that they don't really care about what the viewers think. Thumbs down.
Disliked because of audio missing
99% of your kitchen makeovers are awesome. I think this one was a miss. Its mostly an expensive cosmetic change without changing functionality or improving layout. Perhaps too much input from the owner that's stifling creativity. And its hardly a 'budget' renovation.
Sorry I really didn’t like this one, it looks kind of plain. The red really dated the kitchen just like all that beige it had before.
Hip-hugging, bell bottom denim jeans/pants went out of style about forty to fifty years ago.
