One night on Smackdown, Kurt Angle and Hardcore Holly start beating up Daniel Puder, and then "WHAT DOES EVERYBODY WANT?" Al Snow comes to his aid.
This leads to a tag team match at No Way Out. Puder & Snow vs Angle & Holly.
The Finish, Puder puts Kurt in a Key Lock, Kurt (realizing that the ref isn't gonna bail him out this time, since Puder's shoulders were NOT down and he was NOT pinning himself) TAPS OUT!!!! What better place to have this match than at No Way Out, cause there was no way out of that key lock for Kurt.

It was technically on Vince and partially on Kurt too. It was Vince's idea for Kurt Angle to do these shoot matches with some of the contestants, but he also recommended to not pick Daniel Puder. Angle, being the person that he is, probably saw it as a challenge and picked him. The last thing he probably expected was to be put in a key lock and nearly have his arm broken right after coming back from neck surgery. Puder also had a huge ego coming into WWE, so he was stroking his own ego for having Angle in a submission, even though the match was an amateur style wrestling match, meaning only pinfalls. I do agree with Al Snow on this that these two events happening made no sense. What made sense on Al Snow's part was having the Big Show do chops instead of body slams.
