Very important note here is to drop meat wagons on far left (left tower) or far right (right tower). If you don't, skeleton mages will push wagons a bit forward while trying to reach onyxia and then onyxia kills wagon easily... but great guide ty
so I finally beat onyxia after I realized you can mitigate the amount of minis onyxia can deploy by overloading the map with whelp eggs. I had about 90 hours of attempts using this baron team and closest I got was 5%, so it's actually quite impressive you managed to kill her with this team and without using whelps lol

Any idea why my initial minis are different order than yours even though I have the same ones? Same slots/talents too… (which doesn’t seem to make a difference anyways). Like I don’t have meat wagon available right away I have to cycle through like 4 others before it’s available and it really messes me up at the start with this strat

@@BulavaWarcraftRumble Not officially but the proposed change is 140dmg -> 150dmg and 8% lifesteal-> 10% lifesteal. The damage buff is good especially for scaling as he levels but drain life would need a massive buff to be useful in my opinion.
Hi man. Very nice video. I was following your video and I was constantly getting to phase 3 then draw because I had not enough damage. I upgraded my minis and now I have a level a bit higher than you in the video, but they pushed an update and this method no longer works. I barely can't get out of first phase, they are spamming gargoyles and if a wagon gets in range of Ony, it instantly spawn a drake or a gryphon. Any advice?

And the update changed some other things. I'm working on how to kill Ony with Charlga ATM. If I see any changes that are worth mentioning I'll let you know.

I planned to do the same thing pretty much other than huntress instead of drake, sicne my drake is still uncommon and not levelled at all, grunts are a lot harder to deal with though since drake cant be hit by them.
@@BulavaWarcraftRumble that one is with drakki I spent all my resources into Rend comp you mentioned but I still cant get it, I used some tips from baron and drakki video and I am getting easy to phase 3 but then its mostly draw I cant kill those guardians in time and ony 🥲
@@TheKebeja With Rend it's much harder to kill than with Drakki. You invested everything in Rend because you listen to wrong people :D. Unfortunately I can't make Ony guides anymore because my units are too high level.

@@dandimit8463 I'd go poison cuz slow effect is not as slow as Jaina's or skeleton's. The effect is weaker. So double poison is what I took

Do they change what Onyxia spawns after people beat her? She’s dropping Orcs Vs me. Screwing this strategy up 😡
there is a bug .... If there is too many whelp eggs on the ground(your eggs) she stops spawning things.
how much did it cost to get this far? I imagine a couple hundred bucks at least plus a lot of farming?

Rend, wagon drake whelps, harpies quilboar, bandits - the easiest and cheapest way

Unfortunately all Onyxia kills are due to two bugs and this is no exception.
where is the bug?
When there are many units on the map eggs, skeletons Onyxia spoons only those units that are provided by the enencounter.
the second is when the defenders she spoons can't kill the egg in phase three.
