i feel like ellen feels awkward in interviews and when robbie touched her arm to calm her down it made me happy.
Her acting in the show was awkward, shes unsure of herself & I think that has alot to do with the choices shes made in life.
I was literally just gonna write that. Shows a lovely bond between them and a lovely side of Rob personality

I think they look at him more as an anomaly. Like they are amazed at his age and how adult he is that it makes them laugh not at him but at the questions he's asked, like did he know the comic when the other two know how much of a nerd he is about it and when he said he was lucky to get the role i think that they were laughing a bit because literally NO one else could have done what he did so what competition could he possibly have? I think teenagers feel like older people are laughing at them when they really aren't too because you feel so insecure at that age.

Only a few kids with Aidan's age would be delving into comics as technology and ebooks etc exists now,and also audition for a series role so eagerly of it like Aidan did for UA. I'm pretty sure that laughing we hear isn't meant for ill intentions, but he sounds like Five himself that he's knowledgeable of things and an old soul, only a little bit tamed.
I am a writer and I know it yes! He’s such an amazing person, he’s got to be testing on some genius level.

God, what a smart guy Aidan is. I definitely didn't have the sense that he has now when I was 15. I really hope he keeps getting work, because if he's this talented an actor now, I can't even imagine how great he's gonna be in ten years time.

I always feel kinda sorry for Aidan in interviews with the other cast members cause he’s so serious and mature and the rest of the cast are hilarious but so chaotic and don’t take anything seriously so they always just kinda joke about what he says lol 😭

Watching this now post-transition, the question about relating to living this life of discomfort and tragedy hits different. You can see Elliot literally curl into himself to answer the question. That in itself gave me second-hand anxiety, so I love when Robert touches her arm as a gesture of "I get it, and I know what you're referring to," though maybe not in its entirety. And Aidan coming in clutch with the humor and eloquence as always.
I love what Aidan said at the end... Robert and Elle were kindly mocking him because of course his casting couldn't be down to just luck, but he gave such a mature answer by saying there are great people out there who haven't had the same chances. What a thoughtful statement.
I don't think they were mocking him, but you know just like siblings use to joke or annoying their youngest baby brother?? Just like that..in other interview they weren't like that . And plus I think it was nervous BC they were tired

I've been keeping up with Sheehan's career for years and I had never seen him look so done with an interview before this one.

I absoulouty love how at 0:46 Robert calmed Ellen down❤❤ it's so heartwarming they are such good friends and they way they look at each other is adorable is like they have such a good relationship and their friendship is the most trustworthy I've ever seen.

I’m not a huge fan of Ellen Page but I’ve really felt for her in these interviews. You can tell she’s nervous and she doesn’t like her experience with this show being compared to X-Men (seriously stop asking her that) but 0:48 was so CUTE!! Robert is such a jokester but you could tell when he did that he’s also a an extremely kind hearted person and that it was real.
That comforting arm rub was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen all day❤️❤️

I love how Robert has a realistic view of his character and has no problem being honest about it. I have watched a lot of interviews where people won't say anything possibly negative about their characters and i can't tell if its because they don't see the character flaws (like with vanya), or if they don't want to say anything that might be negative about the show.

Like at 1:52-1:55 when Aidan is talking about going back to the '60s and how the '60s were a good time he says "The Stones" as in the band, as an example of the '60s, and Robert parrots him and says "The Stones" back -- but the subtitles says "Don't! Just don't." Like these aren't even the auto-generated subtitles?? These are the subtitles The Quint provided??
