Shelton Bar 2

The 4th Album of the late Ron Ruston Photographs shows a visit to Shelton Iron and steel company Stoke-on-trent known locally as Shelton Bar. Followed by a visit to Etruria gas works both visits on the same day 19th October 1965

Lovely to see the photos of the tank engines. One of my earliest memories is being in a car with my Grandad and he stalled it on the level-crossing with a tank engine approaching. Obviously a few seconds of panic but eventually he did start the car
