Virgin Trains DVT 82126 PRETENDOLINO Hauled by EWS 90035 at Preston - Firday 5th March 2010.

The Virgin Trains PRETENDOLINO MK3 rake coming into Preston on the 18:46 service from London Euston. Arriving at Preston Station at 21:59, (Orginally 21:55).
The set is being hauled by an EWS Class 90 loco, 90035 and on the rear is the Virgin Trains DVT 82126. The set has 9 coachs all together, 4 first class including buffet. Plus 5 standard coachs, To cover for 390 033 after the set crashed in Lamgrigg (R.I.P).
The set arrived in to Preston on platform five, before leaving again. I am unsure where the set was returning to however it wasn't a passenger service. I think it might be returning to Wembley Alstom depot, but don't quote me on that.

I didn't realize this came all the way up to Preston until I saw it on the Preston station website, I thought it stayed on Birmingham New Street - London Euston services all the time. Good vid

This service terminates at Preston because of the low volume of passengers up to Glasgow at that time
