- Today I would like to show you a alternative to the twinstar sterilizer. Chihiros Doctor has came up with it's third generation sterilizer which I found it very nice and easy to use. With the new functions given truly brought the game to the next level.

Hey i just bought this and its super nice ! But the unit keeps turning off after few mins. Is that how its suppose to work ? Should the lights on the unit always stay up ?
No worries that is how it is suppose to work :)
Does this work for fuzz algae? Also how do you know when to switch between plant, fish, shrimp if you have all 3 in your tank?
i don think it works on fuzz algae / hair algae .. you can manually remove it and then add a mini water pump or increase the water flow of your tank .. this could help out :)
as for the sterilizer , just set it to plant mode if you're using it for planted tank even with all 3 in it
Dont make shock electric?because i have one and when i put my hand into water aquarium make shock electrical.
maybe you loosen the wires that connects to the plate or something therefore causing such problems .. maybe try pushing it or tighten it when it's not turned on. or perhaps switching out a new diffuser plate if its too old
hi! i have fish, shrimps and snails. which mode should i use? ( in a 70liter tank with a lot of plants and moss)
Just use the plant mode would do well :)

Hi there,
I just got my new doctor today and did all as per the installation instructions.
I'm have it a 10 gallon or 33 liter nano tank with plants, fish, shrimps and a snail. As soon as I turn it on with in a second it turns off????
Please advise and much appreciated.

10 gallon is not enough water 15 gallon is about the least you should have. or it may kill all your fish
does it kill hair algae? :(
I believe not .. what you can do to get rid of them is trying to manually removing as much as you could and then reducing the intensity of your lights / raise the height of it. Do a larger percentage of water change to get rid of some excess nutrients and add on a mini water pump into the tank to increase the water flow circulation .. this is the most important and also helps your tank overall circulation. Stagnant / low water flow waters are common for having such algae appearance
how often should i use it?
Hello there , it turns on and off by itself every 15-30min or whenever it senses the required of activation

After 5 month in use my chihiros doctor cant work again.do you have suggestion for me???
is the device leds still flashing but no bubbles appearing ? if so maybe try getting a replacement for the diffuser plate
its a cool device, shame I have not seen it avail here in the USA, but if someone knows where to find it here in the USA please let me know

Well besides the green spot algae on the glass ( which is a common algae to have in planted tank ) , i dont have any other algae at all in the tank :)
I wouldnt say it is 100% because of this device but the overall
