thanks for this, I read the book about 6 months ago and wanted to read Royal Assassin but needed a good recap, this was perfect!!

I loved this type of video! I understand that it’s very labor intensive though. If you love a good mental connection with dogs you should read the Iron Druid Chronicles. They are short books and fun reads. It is modern times but touches on many different mythologies.
I’m so glad you loved it! I love deep dives too, I just wish I had more time to do stuff like this. Maybe one day if I can be full time 😉 a girl can dream lol. I do love animal/dog mental connections, I’ll have to check that series out!

You'll find more messages from me on Goodreads. One of them is about something that I don't understand. Checking the Google sheets for the readathon, I noticed some people submitted forms on December 1st, December 2nd, and December 3rd, getting a lot of points. Were they allowed to do that? I'm confused. Sbgirl1027 seems to be from our House and apparently she submitted many forms in a row after midnight. She must have read all those books one by one, but submitted the forms for all of them after the end of the readathon. After midnight. If she is from some other part of the world where the hour is different, ok, it seems acceptable, but I wish she had submitted them along the way, because it's confusing - the way she's done it - and what about the people who submitted their forms much later, including Ana, who came in on December 2nd, and CC, who did on December 3rd??!!! I mean... I feel like continuing, too, but I haven't filled in any more forms these days because I knew the last day was supposed to be November 30th!
Ashley must have noticed this because the people who submitted forms on December 2nd and 3rd have disappeared from the list. Those who submitted them on December 1st are still there at this point.
I really loved this series! Not enough people talk about Hobb but I think it’s mostly cus it’s older. But she is still publishing books I think! It’s just hard when the big series is so long I think, people don’t want to start such a big project. But I’m not scared 😆 so the readathon ended on Sat at midnight as far as reading but people had up until like 2PM on Sunday to enter the books they read. But yeah, Ashley removed some of the really late entries that didn’t count! I think on the readathon Twitter there is a tweet with the final official results if you want to look!
Is it because it's older or because people aren't patient enough these days? I lent the Farseer trilogy to a colleague from school (I'm a teacher) for her teenage daughter. The girl hasn't finished it, but her mother has and she's asking for more! :)) Her mother is 44 years old, she has never read fantasy before, she has always thought it's not for her, and now she absolutely loves these books!
Oh yay!! I love when I introduce people to a book and they love it and want more! Best feeling ever 😆
