I have seen multiple people do Dragon Ball what ifs for the first time before, but never have I seen one do this good of content. Good job Pickle, you have a great variety and talent do these kind of what ifs.
UBX brought me here, and boy am I glad he did. Your narration is wonderful to listen to, and I love this take on the Guardian Goku scenario.
I didn't expect Kami and Piccolo to die, which was shocking and made a ton of sense story-wise as to why Goku takes up the role. No Dragon Balls does make for some really good stakes here, but I do wonder about if Namek ever comes in play later.
Raditz is essentially our Piccolo, with him warming up to Gohan and developing a bond like the former demon did in the original. With Vegeta and Nappa finally coming to Earth with the prospect that Goku is the "Legendary Super Saiyan," I'm curious as to how they interact and their planning goes about to face Frieza.
I'm subbing, no question, and I'm excited for more.

I enjoy the way you do your what ifs and the degree of detail that you put into them, you also have a good voice and speak clearly. I also appreciate your music choice, it really gives your what if's a unique feel. I have subscribed to you and look forward to seeing you and your channel grow.
I have some constructive feedback, and they may be points you have already received. It feels as though you are recording many separate segments and placing them together, there are many times where your voice lilts up at the end of your statements as though you are making a list, or asking a question which often breaks up the flow of the statement and doesn't place appropriate emphasis as a result. However there are also moments which flow rather well and seem to be recorded as one larger segment of audio. When you do hit these moments they draw me in as i have no complaints about your writing or reasoning within your stories.
You do seem to be new at this but you truly are doing great and there aren't many what if channels i sub to in the first place.
If I may be presumptuous as to make suggestions they would be this:
Try to consider and go over the parts that you record in how they flow from one point to another. And assuming I'm correct that you are breaking the segments of audio into smaller chunks and splicing them together, don't be afraid to record longer stretches, because when you do it feels more natural and engaging.The writing is already there, its just the tone and emphasis that can kind of take me out of it.
And the second suggestion is probably something you are well aware of, getting a different microphone would not hurt. This really isn't a big issue, but you have a good voice so it would definitely make things even better to listen to.
I'm aware my analysis could be very far off.
This is only my perspective and I can't speak to how helpful this feedback is. But i hope you can gleen some value from my observations.

Huh? So both Goku and Gohan have small traces of God Ki inside of them interesting. 🤔 Really enjoying the bonding time between Raditz and Gohan. Oh yeah Chi-Chi still as a fighter nice. 👍 Although this could be problem in the future with Kami and Piccolo dead no Dragon Balls unless Goku or Gohan is given the knowledge of making their own. 🤔 Oh boy Frieza could be coming to Earth next. 😬 Anyways a really good start to this series, and will check out the next part. i hope part part 2 comes because this is so far realistic and enjoyable to watch with the correct power level scaling however for part 2 can you show raditz more :) keep up with the hard work
Your storytelling is amazing. I've seen many first time db what ifs but non of them close to yours even without the editing I could imagine the entire story in my head.. can't wait for the next part 🙂
