Love all your videos, they re so helpful. I have a 2011 Mazda CX7 awd 4 cyl turbo with cylinder #2 not firing. we ve checked the ignition coil and spark plug and are ok. We suspect problems with the fuel injection sys not delivering fuel. Do you recommend a fix that does not included replacement of rail as the cost is really high.
@@doniedoneh low fuel pressure out of the high pressure pump you should be making around 1600-1850 psi at wide open throttle and around 450 if idle if your lower than that the pump is bad if your higher than that the fuel pressure regulator valve is gummed up and needs replaced
Hi why did you replace the high pressure fuel pump? Was it hard to start? My Mazda 3 I need to switch the ignition on/off 3 times before it starts. Can hear the pump in tank loading up. What would be the problem? Regards! Fuel pressure regulator?
Hey I wasn't carful enough and broke the little blue clip on one of the fuel lines. Can anyone help me out. Dealer says it's not available separately. I have to buy $300 worth of fuel lines to get it.
My question is the shop we took her car to after all the work I did said they replaced a fuel pump. But didn't say exactly which one, and some other parts. But my problem is that it's still not getting the right amount of fuel pressure. What else would cause this. It will start and then stall out immediately. Before all this happened it was blowing white smoke and stalled. So I went through and replaced the turbo because that went, and then found out the head gasket was bad so replaced that. Along with other gaskets, and then replaced timing chain and components. I really hate these vehicles.
Hey guys, I need your help. I just swapped my 08 cx-7 with JDM cx-7 engine and now the engine cranks but no start. I've already checked and confirmed everything you mentioned works.. Fuses, Relays, Fuel Injector High Pres Sensor, Crank Sensor and the Cam sensors.. I've tested the spark plugs makes only 1 spark when cranking. Any more thoughts?
I don’t see the parts used in cements or link for the Mazda CTC-7 high pressure fuel pump and hose. Do you know where I can obtain these parts? I have a 2007 with a 2010 engine in it. Had to replace after turbo was blown out. You guys seem to know your shit so I’d love to hear from you!!!!

I was getting multiple misfire code so i replaced *all sparkplugs *all ignition coils * new turbo (no related) *power steering pump (not related) *intake censor? It still runs like crap and isnt getting full power id say 1/2 power.. when driving it boggs down a little then engine light blinks? Does it sound like a bad EGR? Fuel pump? Fuel injectors? Crank sensor? PLEASE HELP ME!!!! Im not a mechanic. Ive learned everything about my car from your videos.. thank you
Can someone please help me my 09 cx7 starts runs till it gets to temp then stalls out starts rite back up runs for 5sec once it's warmed up I changed the throttle body didn't work
Hi, i have Cx7 2009. Engine check code I P2188 & P2188 replaced under market parts, AIR FLOW SENSOR, FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR, AIR MASS SENSOR STILL HAVE P2188 & P2188 codes, then replaced, FUEL INJECTORS (SAME PART #) no LEAKS. But still .P2188 & P2188 code on 1,500rmp start stalling but if you accelerate really slow it wil go up also when you push gas pedal fast engine start to stall ( car on park). When car running no enough power to run on flat and abit up hill its like stalling. Replaced also all sparkplugs still the same. I noticed the new sparkplugs start to have black carbon deposit.. Just don't know what to now. Need help pls. This only my car 🚗 need it running soon. i alway watch you in CZcams and scrivened to your channel. I learn alot of it.
Please, use written translation strip. Talk in your native language. Be humble. Admit your car is the ugly one. Skip the "turbo engine we wish to swap" introduction. Jewelry: male auto mechanics never wear cloth bracelets- for safety. Never do mechanic work wearing a "gold" watch. You just showed us how to take out two bolts? No way! Gee...

Hello in the pump where the sensor is disconnected, I am passing gasoline above that may be or it just needs to tighten

how do you test this expensive part? i have plenty of low pressure fuel from the lift pump but car will stumble and die when cranking, will not run.
Do these engines have 2 fuel pumps then, one in the tank and the high pressure one on the engine?

My God the engine bay was filthy on that cx7.. must have been in a very disty climate. How do you know if the pump is bad?

Get an OBD and plug it in to get the error code, that will give you a better idea what’s going on
