Don't harm Indian wildlife with those beautiful birds and they are cute, when I woke up at 4am, I heard common mynas chirping in the dawn and I heard a lot of their sounds so India is the best country and soon in 2050, India will rule Australia. I love Indian nature life. No more saying common mynas are a pest. The words are cut off. We love common mynas and care about them. Never say don't care or else I don't care about noisy miners.

Thank you very much for your narration of the minors. I have learnt a lot from it. I feed the minors here in Queensland, Australia. I feed them along with lots of birds in the garden.

why would you feed these rats? they throw baby chicks out of their nests.

I hope you're feeding them poison, because they cause unbelievable damage to Australian wildlife and agriculture. More worryingly, their numbers are out of fucking control: one pair of mynahs can result in at least 20,000 birds over a 5 year period. They breed insanely fast, and the bastards are smart. They're a serious threat to the ecosystem.

    _"need to be conserved"_
Are you frickin' kidding me?? Their numbers are out of control. Tell you what, if India ever runs out of mynahs, Australia can send replacements. Seriously.
Calling this bird a pest is an understatement. Few people realise just how much of a threat to the Australian ecosystem these bastards pose. They need to be eradicated with extreme prejudice.

these "things" are destroying biodiversity across the world. UK should never have exported them. Local wild life are suffering badly because these birds have been introduced in areas where they do not belong. I agree, it is a stunning bird. I love the look. I even like the aggressive nature. but I do culling where I stay because they destroy the local bird population. At this point I only have pigeons and mynas left. All the stunning South African bird life has been destroyed.

Hello Ben,Thank you for your comments. I cannot endorse culing of any creature. There are any 'conservationists' who advocate culling and I have been in some rapacious debates online about it! I feel the maxim of Survival of the Fittest works best as regards population cntrol... indeed invasives thrive better I am given to believe. Culling skews population dynamics which we cannot as yet see. Climate Change is providing enough of a challenge. So after Man created enough havoc by introducing invasive species Homo sapiens should not meddle further, that's my take... This is part of a series we want to do on birds ... god willing we will raise funding and will be able to do that...

Malini Shankar I am sorry you feel that way. Unfortunately you didn’t get the part where i said it was a joke. You must be so insecure, judgmental and sensitive to come up with petty conclusions over a joke. It’s called humour, and clearly you lack any. Also maybe next time learn to speak proper English. Or at least improve your grammar, spelling and dictation if you would like to respond with some criticism.
