I went on a day trip to Athlone by my own yesterday (17-07-2022) and it was my first time to visit Athlone. It's a wonderful place. I only visited the Luan Gallery and the Church of Saints Peter and Paul.
The people are very friendly.
I'd like to visit there again sometime.
