This lovely lady, Gloria Hunniford, approached me at a reception at the Royal Opera House, following a charity concert there in June 2000. She was so charming and appreciative, after I had accompanied terrific singer, Lulu, who had sung "Amazing Grace". Gloria simply rounded off, one of my most memorable days - thanks, Gloria - I will never forget you.
Great man I met him once at a friends house just before he became a household name, he had so much time for everyone.
This was the Dale I remember, funny, confident and looked great.
You can tell from this interview, dale was a man who needed to be loved hard.

Dale is now reunited with his mum again.

He had had absolutely the best facelift in the business. I don't know why but it's easy to spot a man who's had one and I have yet to see one, other than Dale, where they look better for it. What a star he was

Sad to hear about this chaps death,,,,,I remember taking the odd day off from work and luved watching supermarket sweep,,,,,now looking back though it seems only like yester year until you see the clothing very fitting of the time,,,,RIP,,,
