- The Algorithmics go to find the four pieces of the Mixolotica scattered across the globe to stop the Silencer in this 2D side scroller.
This is Any% playthrough, I really don't feel like collecting all of the musical notes, and I found some that are too hard for me to obtain. - Hry
Oh my god I played this SO much when I was little. This is kind of a strange feeling seeing it again
Ah...the nostalgia. Hard to believe that THIS of all games is what sparked my lifelong passion for gaming...
I'm getting a Leapster and a copy of this game in a few days. Time to see if it holds up.
How was it? I’m thinking about picking up a leapster and all my favorite games again but I’m 19 and I feel like I won’t like it
@@brendanspaulding7930 Unfortunately it didn’t live up to my memories... the frame rate in particular is somewhere in the teens, I think. It’s also just a very simple game without much to do. That said, it was fun to revisit the slide glitch after almost 15 years! (walk under a slide, walk back out, and you’ll get boosted forwards at high velocity) I feel like my ability to solve the math problems has actually slightly regressed at this point lol
If you like games and old school feel you’ll still enjoy it, I’m 40 and I actually had a leapster I bought one out of fascination and curiosity, and as someone who grew up on game boy and Nintendo I loved the side scrolling platformers like this one, the Batman games, sonic, go Diego go, and I really enjoyed math missions with those games it’s got that are atrai arcade style games, get puzzled and wall-e.as an adult they were perfect games to just play when chilling, laying in bed just unwinding for the evening
I never got to finish this game when I was younger, so being able to see what happens is a huge breath of fresh air to me. I always played Yuko.
I loved playing this game when I was little! I always picked Sam.
Same!
I always thought her name was “Ham” back in the day.
Amanda Schaefer I still have this game
I always picked Yuko
Same!
I have been looking for this FOR YEARS! I was never able to finish the game and not knowing how it ends has been killing me! Thank you so much for uploading!
I'm experiencing so much nostalgia. I'm 18 now but low key wanna play this again.
@@rachels7880 This game is what got me interested in platformers to begin with. I think it's largely what made me like Sonic once I discovered the classics- Robotnik reminded me of Silencer. Same with Math Baseball being why I love Little League Baseball 2009 for DS so much, lol.
Same, IKR!!!
Why stop posting
I spent an hour looking for this and so glad I found it. I'm 17 and still have my Leapster. I would either pick Tomas or Yuko. This is so nice to see again after almost 10 years.
I'd have Yuko
This was my absolute LIFE as a 7 year old. I pretty much played as Sam.
i played this RELIGIOUSLY as a child. and i’ve really wanted to buy a leapster and get this game again because as simple and child like they were, those games were so peaceful
26 now, used to play this in my youth. So glad this was uploaded because I couldn't for the life of me remember what it was called.
I used to play that game on my Leapster when I was little.
Now THIS is peak gaming, up there with even Persona 5 and God of War 2018 among the highest achievements in master design.
I had a broken copy of this game. No matter how far I got, it never saved my progress. It also had all 3 profiles as YYYYYYYY for some stupid reason. It even wasn’t a used copy too.
YOUR TELLING ME THIS WASNT A FEVER DREAM??!?¿?!
That Mixolotica looks like something out of the garbage dump after a scientist rejected the prototype.
I wish I had a mixolotica😢
They should make a theatrical movie of this with Janice Kawaye as Yuko, Stephanie Sheh as Sam, JG Quintel as Ato, and Antonio Banderas as Tomas.
I can do that!
Another one of my fav education learning games when I was a kid! ^^ 💕
Man I remember playing this game ages ago, forgot all about it and over a decade later here I am
Omg i loved this game, I played this constantly! I always chose Yuko or Tomas, what an awesome game.
The Algorithmics’ names are Ato, Sam, Tomas and Yuko.
That's the order I created them in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
after all of these years, i used to play it but i no longer have that anymore, however, i will be looking forward to play that again.
I wish there was more info on how to emulate these games...the soundtrack is also pretty good, surprised how much of it I remembered.
It’s been about 8 years since I’ve played this, this and the Batman game were my whole life around 8
Such a good game. I struggled with it though.
This game caused so much frustration for me as a kid. I suppose part of that had to do with this literally being above my grade (pretty sure I was still in preschool; had this game because of my older sister). Though I think part of it was also simply the gameplay, which even watching this is giving me anxiety. The low resolution, sub 24fps performance, the squishy d-pad, a camera WHICH WOULD NOT STAND STILL...ugh! Yeah I unfortunately don't look at this one so fondly.
Im wondering if someone could rip the OST for this game.
why was this game so mf hard for me when i was a kid? this was my first encounter with genuine hatred
honestly same 😭 this was hard but one of my favs 🙏
This was one of my favorite game. Never finished it though I lost it before I could. Almost beat silencer too.
Sam was my gay awakening
I liked playing this game when i was little i always picked tomas and ato
Okay but where is the songs from the game tho. The boss fight music SLAPS
I haven't played it but I heard of it
That sound reminds me of Telephone
Ato is pronounced "Otto;" Renegade Animation (who created this game) is the best American cartoon studio ever!
There should be videos on how to make Miis of the Algorithmics and how to create them in other games such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Could you do tinkerbell and the lost treasure next? I remember playing that so much as a kid!
Disney Fairies? Sure, but I have to collect all of the lost things first so I can show all of the different toys in the game built.
If you were mentioning the Didj game, sorry I can't do those, there's no way to record Didj games in decent quality, and I have a hard time setting up one.
RescueHero's Nostalgia Zone ahh! I was referring to the leapster game, also I can understand the wait!
Ugh why aren’t there videos on Dora Piñata Party? Could you perhaps do it?
This kinda like super mario
ayo someone rip this soundtrack because its FIRE
*T H O M A S*
When you play as Sam her keyboard looks more like a keytar.
What are download stations in this game?
1:37 Tomas sounds like Michelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
9:21 Yuko sounds like T.K. from Digimon
14:07 Sam sounds like Coco Bandicoot from Crash Bandicoot, or Jimmy Neutron, or Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog
18:44 Ato sounds like Omoi from Naruto
Here are the voice actors:
I think Tomas is voiced by Sam Riegel, who is best known for voice roles as Donatello in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and Phoenix Wright in the Ace Attorney games.
I think Yuko is voiced by Wendee Lee, who is best known for her voice roles in anime include Kei in the Pioneer dub of Akira, Faye Valentine on Cowboy Bebop, Myōjin Yahiko in Rurouni Kenshin, Takeru "T.K." Takaishi on Digimon Adventure, Haruhi Suzumiya on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Konata Izumi on Lucky Star, and as well as voicing Queen Serenity in the Viz Media re-dub of the classic Sailor Moon series and the new Sailor Moon Crystal series.
I think Sam is voiced by Debi Derryberry who is best known as the voice of Jimmy Neutron in the film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius and the television series The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius. She also voices Jay Jay, Herky, Savannah, and Revvin' Evan from Jay Jay the Jet Plane (Following the death of Mary Kay Bergman), Tad on various LeapFrog animated videos and DVD's from 2003 to 2005, Coco Bandicoot in the Crash Bandicoot series, Wednesday in The Addams Family cartoon, Jackie in Bobby's World, Draculaura in Monster High, and Maureen Murphy in F is for Family, as well as Diana on Sailor Moon and Clay in the Playhouse Disney segments.
I think Ato is voiced by Ogie Banks, who is best known for his roles as Clawd Wolf in Monster High, and Luke Cage and Miles Morales in Ultimate Spider-Man. He also voices Dylan in the Bratz franchise and Omoi in Naruto.
I think Silencer is voiced by Steve Blum, who is most well-known for his voice roles include Spike Spiegel from the anime series Cowboy Bebop and Wolverine from Marvel's Wolverine and the X-men.
@@thomasbonilla4316 that was actually Kether Donohue (Yuko) Sean Schemmel (Ato) Kate Roland (Sam)Ted Lewis (Tomas). The source is at leapfrog fandom
Holy fuck
Dude you aren't even a true gamer, you didn't even get all the music notes in the beginning, dislike, unsubscribe.
Is this the only Leapster game with a boss battle?
The Batman Leapster game also had bosses.
Oh...Huh.
Both Batman games were awesome, I love the old school Nintendo feel to them !

Not trying to be a jerk, but this game looks like something you would see in a cartoon. Or if Minecraft allowed you to craft game consoles, this is one of the games you would craft and play. Otherwise, this is just good.
This is how I became more than grade level when I got to third grade! This was a HUGE educational game with purpose and fun! 🥹
