- This Heybourne Edit is mostly Season 2-focused, but includes a few clips from Season 3. The song lyrics hit me in the feels- very S2 Colbourne. I originally intended to only use S2 clips, since the song ends a bit ambiguous, however I couldn’t resist adding an admittedly rushed HEA. My love for Heybourne including their S2 heartbreak has endured, but now that we have an HEA, I’m going to use it and end on a high note now that we can! I hope you enjoy their story as much as I do. This one did make me tear up a bit at the end. Love these two 🎩💙👒

She may not have finished it, but this is my favorite Jane Austen story. Andrew Davies did a grand job of finishing the tale, and the series was wonderful. Only negative--too short. There should have been at least one more season to finish more stories and also let us see into the Colbourne household with Charlotte, Alexander, Augusta, and Leo as a family. Perhaps the cast could be gathered and a movie made to give us all more closure. No, don't suppose so. Wishful thinking from a big fan of British TV. Love all the videos and accompanying music.

Make a Life with Me!! Yes!!! In that statement Alexander makes it clear that he views her as his equal and someone he respects the opinion of and would value greatly. It's love plus. It would be nice to have seen some of the life they shared together. How they worked together and became a family. It would be nice to see Augusta find her life too. She's a pretty strong-willed and independent girl. I'd like to see how that turned out.
Why! Oh why, can't we have more. Certainly, the writers, if they are worth their pay, can come up with something. The story obviously has a following.
Oh don't mind me, just back to rewatch this edit for the hundredth time! You've done such a fabulous job of capturing the tentativeness and tenderness of their blossoming love and the song choice is absolutely perfect. The fact that you managed to isolate the dialogue track from the rest of the audio in several of the scenes truly sets this video apart from other edits I've seen and makes such a difference to the whole experience of watching it. I can't imagine how difficult that must be to do, and I am in awe! I love that you switched up the tone at the last minute to include the HEA. The melancholy of (apparently) lost love, followed by happiness, is so poignant to me, and ending the whole thing with SMALWM was a stroke of genius! It made me tear up the first time I watched this and still has the same effect now. Congratulations on this stunning Heybourne video! I hope one day you'll be inspired to make more!
