  • For the channel's very first video, I challenge myself to paint up all the terrain from Warcry in a day. I do my best with shaky hands to achieve a good tabletop standard using homemade washes that behave similarly to GW Contrast.
Tune in this week and I'll show you how to make your own GW contrast type paint.
The materials used for this video include:
    -Vallejo acrylic matte varnish
-Flow medium (any brand will do I used hobby lobbies white label brand)
-Umber brown acrylic ink (I used Amsterdam brand)
-Turquoise acrylic ink (Amsterdam brand again)
-White acrylic paint (Vallejo brand "dead white")
-Copper acrylic paint (p3 brass balls)
    -Red acrylic paint (Vallejo brand)
-Cheap heat gun from harbor freight
I learned about how to make washes from this Goobertown Hobbies video, check it out for a more in-depth guide about making contrast-like paints: • Contrast Paint? Make Y...

Thanks for watching! I'd really like to pick up some more acrylic inks to experiment with. I'm working on the next video now and the subject is going to be painting my frostgrave gnoll gang up.
