please do more i really really love this!!! i plan to post acting videos on my channel pretty soon here!
can you tell me which videos of yours to watch in order to really really get to know about acting and practicing and everything like that?
really great!
You have no idea how much of an inspiration you are to upcoming actors who want to make it in the business
Thanks man, I appreciate that 👊🏼
this is why acting schools drown us in Stanislavski's naturalism method and techniques haha he's actually my favourite theatre practitioner. Anyway this was super helpful to know, I'm always thirsting to figure out how to make my acting more believable and realistic like a second skin, and not so cringey at times anymore haha
Yes me too lol :)
Yeah same
If one understands when an acting is overacting, then acting realistically will be quite easier
That's hard for me to find someone's OVERACTING
Thanks for the tips! I really want to get the lead in my school’s play this year because I’ll be a senior. I hope to act beyond high school too
Wishing the best!
*So I used to be a very good actress it was easy and felt so natural to me but when I turned 19 I took some acting classes but somehow they clashed with me ,talk about self sabotage😭🤷♀️, my acting got kinda bad and felt so hard to do the minimum, now I’m 23 and still trying to get to the old me and learn new things and your channel has been so helpful to me thank you so much*
Do not worry, this happens to many individuals. Keep working/practicing what works for you. If something works keep it, if something doesn’t work throw it out. I’m glad I’ve been able to help and assist getting you back on track ❤️
I really wanna make it to Hollywood being a film actress 🙏🏾🥺 thank youuuuu so much for these tips 😘❤️

Love it!!! Fantastic advice, and easy-to-understand!!
Yup! Acting doesn’t have to be complicated. The more we can simplify it, the better.
@@TheActorsAcademy for sure!!! The other day I went to this adult acting class, the instructor made no sense, that's why I love this channel so much so easy to understand!!!! thanks
I really appreciate this video!!
😁👍🏼
this is super cool, have you done a video on the opposite? like how to “over-act” for greek theatre or clowniing, etc
Haha not on overacting, I prefer realistic or hyper-realistic acting acting approach, because most of us will be auditioning for either realistic or hyper-realistic work
Thank you. Great insight
Always here for you all 👊🏼❤️
Thinking of getting this
Thank you
Thank you so much! Hugs!🤗

I finally signed up for the 10 Hour Acting Masterclass!
Now that I got the time it will be a great help!
Glad to have you apart of our community!
Thanks for sharing :) really enjoyed it
No problem, always happy to help 👊🏼
Very useful! Thank god I already kind of do those. 😶🌫️ at least Ik I’m on the right path
Start at 5:22, (then watch the beginning.)
I'm know it's a bit different from "regular acting" but could you do a video about working as a voice actor?
Actually, believe it or not, voice acting and regular acting somewhat go hand in hand.
Is it alright to use the Outside-In approach for an audition? Dressing like the character and thus possibly not having the tidiest clothes or messy hair? Or should you stick to plain clothes and makeup? I'm asking because I've seen a lot about how you're supposed to wear a black shirt etc.
I never go to the extreme, but just enough to give off the essence of the character. In terms of colors I’ve worn all types. Likewise when you walk into an audition room many actors are wearing different colors depending on the role they’re auditioning for. If anything theater actors may think this way of wearing only black, but again I wear whatever works best for me/the essence of the character. Hope this helps 👍🏼
@@TheActorsAcademy thank you!!
Sir, I was thinking that some of your audience will like a video on the topic, Acting vs Overacting
Would you try making it ?!?!
🤠🤠🤠🙏🏼
Plz make an updated video on hoaw to prepare a resume...I still don't know what to fill in the skills and talents part
We’ll see!
Thank you so much as a student of acting I needed this so much to practice and work on my acting skills!!! Thanks a lot 😊( yeah, I do suck😭😭)
PS: I don't talk properly while reading lines and dilivering lines how can I solve this problem???? I just feel like I'm faking it which I don't want to do I want it to be real.
Practice more lines
Record yourself more and watch it back, as well as following point number 1 of the video 👍🏼👍🏼
First of all, you need to work on your self belief. If you believe you suck, then that will show to others too. You need to believe you CAN become amazing at acting and be proud of how far you've come and will become! Now, as far as delivering the lines from the page, you wanna not act like you're literally reading from the page, add emotion into it but don't over act (that's why we're on this video, ey lol) and study Stanislavski's methods and techniques of naturalism, it actually helped me but you don't wanna stick to his method by the book all the time. Make room for your own method too! and finally, working on your diction is so so important so you don't slur and mumble your words into word jelly. I've been carded on that by my drama teachers before, and now, in acting Uni, my tutor thinks I have amazing diction and pronounce my words really clearly. It's all about practice, my friend. You'll make it, I believe you will. Now you just need to believe that you will make it yourself, much love and light ☺️
@@bwingbwinggwiyomi Thank you so much ☺️
Thanks
You’re welcome 👊🏼
There have been times when I think I did terrible during an audition, and booked the role. And vise versa
Excuse me , how can I see some of your screen plays on tv?

Could you please make a video on how to get a S.A.G card! I am very confused on how to get one because you need one to get a role but you get one when you get a role.

Thank you so much 😊
This is really important while the world collapses around us.
Can you tell me that if I am right or not?? Like for some character I like to stay in the character and do the things that my character does but only for a few characters when I feel it difficult to find those characters in myself that's why I stay in character. But I see staying in character as a tool which I use sometimes and I always try to discover different tools for creating different characters 👍
Living out the characters life is not the type of actor I want to be, so I never practice in that way. It takes too long and can cause potential relational/social problems. Its kinda like when someone wants to get fit. There are those who workout naturally and then there are those who take steroids. I would never want to be the person taking steroids so I wouldn’t bother indulging in it, the same applies to the stereotypical idea of method acting. There is no medal given to those who live out the characters life. You want your acting to be quick and efficient. The characters we bring on camera stay on camera, the characters we bring on stage stay on stage. When I go home at night I am myself, I never bring the character with.
I agree 👍 but most of the great performances of all time are done with staying in character. People like De Niro , Pacino , Brando , Tom Hanks (sometimes) , Daniel day Lewis use this. Can you tell why??
@@tanishqmahajan2442 again it is a choice. There are many ways to get to the top of the mountain, it all depends on which road one wants to take. There are MANY actors that do not follow the approach of the stereotypical style of method acting. Tom Hanks did not fully go method, but rather partial method for Cast Away and you haven’t seen him doing much of it since. Al Pacino and De Niro have not went method for every role. So this is an important distinction to make. Are there method actors? Yes. Is it a necessary must? No. There are different paths to take as an actor, if you can make magic happen with your talent and skill that’s all you need. Some actors can bring out their talent naturally, while others need to take a long time. It all depends on the type of actor you want to be and how you practice.
Remember, when you have an audition, you may get the audition notice today and go to the office tomorrow. In this situation method acting would be very inefficient. When you’re working on multiple timeframes for multiple movies, you need to be efficient in your work. Would you rather be given a character and be able to portray quick it and efficiently or would you rather need weeks if not months to get it down?
On top of all this, method acting can take a HUGE toll on your mental health and significantly decrease your longevity in this business.
Again it all depends on the process you want to go through and the path you want to take. There are many ways to get to the top of the mountain. Method acting is not a must and it’s not what I teach.
Hope that makes sense 👍🏼
@@TheActorsAcademy I seriously love your every advice what you give me now I will not practice method acting 😀👍👍 thanks man.
I don't fit in either of these categories 🥴 it's okay lol it still applies
Can you explain what is stereotypical style of method acting and what is original method acting ??
Realistically, there are multiple “methods” or “approaches” to acting. Stanislavsky had his, Uta Hagen had hers, Meisner had his, etc.
The stereotypical outlook of method acting is living out the characters life 24/7
Yeah you are absolutely right ! 😀 But which approach do you use Stanislavski, Stella adler etc ???
@@tanishqmahajan2442 it really depends. There’s small elements from each, some unique things from my instructors, and some of my own creations, that create my method of approach
@@TheActorsAcademy that's how we should always approach a script in my opinion. Lots of techniques to create our own
First 🥳
😁
Hello my name is Angel can you please do review on John casa Blancas/your opinion on them
I wouldn’t go with John Casablancas…..as a working actress myself, you should do research on the agencies in your city or neighboring city by going to their website and seeing how many SAG-AFTRA talent they have. Also, if they are asking for money, it is not legit. You don’t pay for representation. Save that money and pay for classes.
@@raynathechristianactress thank you so much yeah I love In st Pete Florida so there’s not much by do you have Instagram or something so I can keep in touch with you
