IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Can't touch this might actually give you 100% mitigation chance when you dash. I tested this further with different methods and it was so hard because you are already incredibly hard to hit while you are dodging. And the actual dash window for mitigation is smaller than what it looks like.
Quick tip: Save your second jump for right after the dash. It keeps the momentum.
Solid tip choom ❤
I found the air dash not worth the extra 6 attribute points for reflex. You get the same effect of dashing from the ground then double jumping to keep the momentum in mid air.
Wow, your dedication to testing each of these and your data is excellent. Thank you, very helpful. I like Assault Rifles and Mobility, so when I get a console that can run it, your data will be useful.
Good on you for actually testing each of these.
what a great idea, will be watching these cos i couldnt be bothered trying to understand them all myself, thanks for doing the work for us
Haha same. Easier to watch videos then do a whole bunch of reading and comprehending 😂😂😂❤
great video mate! Looking forward to the next ones in the same style.
Great video explaining perk acquition , Thank you.
Hey thanks so much for putting time stamps/chapters so we can easily search! My man 😎 ❤
please do a video on the new Skill progression and what activities you can do to level them up as well as what attributes/skill trees will be best for leveling certain skill progressions.
Can't wait for the int tree breakdown
Damn. This is quality work and content compared to most of the CZcamsrs who just read descriptions and make "overpowered" (no) builds.
Nice job testing all these perks, this is great content! For the Flash and steel perk I’m surprised you can’t see the difference when the perk is activated. To me V turns into a blender when it’s on lol
Yeah i noticed it. with the side by side. But not in practice lol. I see it now though
Thank you 🙏
Oh sh!t. Imma watch tf outta this
For mitigation testing i found the best spot to be that huge robot you fight early on the DLC, it has laser beam which you can dash through.
Did not work lol. Everytime I dashed through it, i avoided damage at all, with or without the perk. But I further tested it and it seems like it actually gives you mitigation every time. Just really hard to test because most of the time, enemies can't hit you while dashing. And when they do, its mostly towards the end of the dash. But the actual 'window' for the mitigation is smaller than what the dash looks like. I need a mod that makes my dash last twice as long or something so i can properly test. It's so tough
The one that keeps your speed while aiming actually speeds you up if you aim while crouched.
It seems to me like mean streak works great with melee. Seems to Last a few seconds after dashing
Does leap (flash and thunder perk) work together/against leap from errata katana or relic mantis effect leap?
interesting. if have gorilla hands is give a bonus to blades?
Wonder what accuracy mean for guns. There's an accuracy perk for smart guns too. Wonder how that works. Never seen the bullet stray before if it locks.
"Steady Grip" is not needed if you have Kerenzikov cyberware installed. Pretty sure "Multitasker" also is not needed when you have Kerenzikov, at least for the sliding part. The only thing "Multitasker" seems to be good for is hip-firing while regular sprinting, and in that case if you ADS you will stop sprinting anyway. Once you have "Ninjutsu" crouch-sprinting and all it's related perks unlocked in the Cool tree, it blows away regular sprinting because you can ADS without slowing down.
Weapon handling is overall just dexterity I think.
Mad dash is sooo broken lmao, like you literally teleport sometimes 😂
Perks in this game: every 7th shot in the left leg with tech shotguns reduce 1.2% stamina for 0,125% seconds but only if it's tuesday and full moon.
That's only when they actually work
- 3:25 For Spice of Life, does it speed up switching from a blade to an SMG, switching from an SMG to a blade or both?
switching in and out of an smg. But once the smg is put away, the blade will pull out at normal speed
Is monowire considered a "blade" now or no? Have you tested ? Does the further distance or stunned enough finisher perk affect knives? They a blade?
good question, I also wonder if fists are considered blunt weapons too?
Monowire is no longer a blade. Throwing knives aren't affected by the Blade perks. They are their own thing now.
do these blades perks work with throwing knives too? worth testing the cool tree next since they can be related to reflex
yeaah i’ll check that when i get to cool, thank you. Im currently working on strength first
Almost positive it doesn't. And if it does, it'd only effect the swinging and not throwing. But I'd like to be wrong. Feels like a lot of the general synergy stuff between trees is just gone.
Yes, please do cool afterwards. These types of videos are by far the most helpful.@@zKarma
It would be cool if you could deflect bullets with knifes, does anyone know if you can?
Bravo sir, amazing video.
SMG Fun seems op and realy boring.
Shooting guns cost stamina? WTF? I mean I'm not the most in shape guy, and I've fired some monsters at ranges and despite my shoulder or wrist feeling a bit sore I'd never say I ran out of stamina. Even doing mandatory pistol drills to be a correctional officer back in the day I wouldn't even say I was winded. Wild game mechanic that...
I mean, most cyberpunk guns are also higher calibre, and the probs kick much harder due to everyone being augmented
Firing a weapon non-stop for combat drills can become exhausting, in my opinion, especially if you're using something like an LMG. But to be honest it's just a game mechanic there to keep the combat more interesting. Maintaining your stamina at certain levels, depending on what perks you have, can make a big difference in a gunfight.
I think it's a very interesting approach to the old FPS formula, it's like they tried to add a bit of that Dark Souls stamina bar experience into it, obviously without it being nearly as punishing.
does the bullets deflect still work?
Yes. Work wonder
anyone knows for sure about that weapon handling? because it sounds useless...
I'd say it would cover ADS, reload speeds and recoil but it needs to be tested
Parkour stinks.
The ONLY thing it seems to tangibly improve is vaulting over waist high cover. Everything else literally feels slower somehow.
The perk trees in this game sucks real bad, some are decent but most are trash.
