I don't know why, but I really like the characters, specially villians, whom mess with the main characters feelings. That can make even the least serious character react so agressive or sad. That's why I like this Instant Kill.

Never been a fan of someone needing to rely on cheap tactics to win.
For the record, I don't hate this kind of villains, I just roll my eyes when they're in the game/movie I'm watching.

one character could sink into despair by those feelings, while other can beat into a pulp whoever is kicking the hornet's nest
i agree with both of you, i personally despise manipulators, but find them necessary to give direction to some characters
@@1TheVelociraptor It's not that I despise them, it's just that I hate how stupidly everyone seems to behave whenever a character starts doing exaggerated hand motions, has a smile on his face and keeps snarking and saying "you'll find out soon enough..." They get under my skin but not on the way the developers/creators want. They bore me since it's just the same formula over and over again. So every time a bad guy starts clapping and saying "well done" I already know what to expect from them...

I love that the reactions on the instant kill can vary from the same character, you can have Faust talking about Bald Hair treatment but can also face himself failing to save the little girl again.
iirc bedman's reaction can also be something along the lines of "I'm powerless here because I can't calculate anything reliably wtf"

Potential Guilty Gear spoilers, if I have this right.
I just realized what Ky is seeing when he gets a BAD END after reading up on the Guilty Gear lore: the reason why he’s saying “Why now?!” Is because Dizzy was a previous “Villain” who had a bounty to be killed. Ky is seeing Dizzy being killed a long time after her bounty was claimed.
Given context... That really hurts.
That wouldn't make sense, since the characters see their pasts. Also, iirc Jam took the bounty after she saw ky leaving with dizzy saying that she had destroyed her to get the money to fund her restaurant.

@@alternanzafatemonogatari4868 That actually sounds like a really good bet. If I remember correctly, Ky's "Hope" belt cut was made after a fight during the crusades where he was the sole survivor, then (Order) Sol decided to formally start the belt writing trend by etching "Free" on his own belt?
Ky was definitely distraught by that ordeal, so it might be possible it was either that "Hope" incident or the moment he lost his family. Either way, that might be worse than a pure fabrication...
