John's voice mixed with his guitar make a chemistry that I really can't explain. But whenever he sings a song, even if it's a song I don't originally like, it makes my soul feel every bit of it. And it doesn't happen with any other band or artist ever the same way it happens with his music. I love this guy so much, his music made me what I am today

Exactly what I feel about his covers too. As a result I've grown to even love the originals so as to give them a listen once in a while.
Glorious imperfections…even the mistake on how deep is your love on another video is so epic it becomes part of the cover, not to mention his solo work. So glad he is still with us.

It's very opinion based. And there is no need to be a dickhead about it. Page was a very fast guitarist and was in one of the best bands ever but he didn't do as much work as John and is arguably less creative. Plus Jimmy page is a creep lol.
Oh and John can actually sing while playing and sing really really well at that.
@@soyborne.bornmadeandundone1342 I agree that John Frusciante is great. But if I had to pick between him and Page I couldn't do it. Page sang and played guitar many times, take tangerine live at earls court. And I think both of them were just as creative, think about The Rain Song or In The light.

Those Covers of "Lucky" and "You And Whose Army" just make me think how fuckin awesome a Thom Yorke/John Frusciante collaboration would be. I mean, Flea already plays for "Atoms for Peace" - I wouldn't be too surprised if Yorke and Frusciante had already met in the past anyway.
I would be so happy if that happened. I even think if their currently styles of music combine, but Thom and his solo work are really becoming electronic with his "Tomorrows modern boxes" thing and Frusciante obviously into the thing he his could happen. Let's have hope brother!

I had the privilege of seeing John wirh the Chili's 7 times + now hopefully will get the chance to see again. Easily the greatest talent ever in rock music. As much as I love his solo work, him coming back to the Chili's is one of the best bits of music news in a very long time. I initialy felt overjoyed and then giddy for the whole day. The Chili's can now again rightfully take their place as the greatest rock band on the planet.
+ now I have a ticket to see them on Athens in June 2020.

Wowz!.... I turned this one on, and immediately went off to run two loads of laundry upstairs, and got them in the wash (including sorting)_...took two loads of garbage down two flights, and me back up them... ,Talked to the neighbor kid and mom, for a while...Did some organizing boxes in the hall, , and then went back down to the lobby too pick up a bag of food.....and I came back and this vid is still going. In fact, it's only three quarters of the way through..... I'd forgotten how long this is, and how many covers he's actually done....Yes, I have listened to this one before, hee. I think he's amazing. Evrytime I hear John F. play guitars or sing any song, it's just so easy for me to love this guy! He's so full of emotions, so passionate and yet still a bit shy and humble about being one of the greatest musicians. I so love his being simple, rugged and sooo cool with everything he does! 😘😘😘😘💞

I love this guy! This was so awesome, thank you for posting. I wish John was still with the band, I would have loved to see what else they would have done together. They were magic together. Amazing though his solo career has not taken off in a major way. The man is so talented.
I feel the same way. From what I gathered he doesn't want to perform any longer. He was always ambiguous about wether or not he enjoys to perform on stage. So now he's making music alone at home and posts it on his website. Quite many people still follow him though.
