Crazy how good he is and how underrated he is. I feel like for me he falls in a group of rappers like Joey Badass, Isaiah Rashad type rappers who are just so slept on but when you break it down to real rap… might be the best ones there are. Bar for bar , beats represent their hoods and just tell such good stories. Love this guy.

@@ethansmith3213 the keys in the melody have heavy distortion on them for texture. the drums are sparse in that they’re simplistic and few and far between. almost a space-y pattern
@@ethansmith3213 the main melody/chords especially on ziplock sound almost out of tune, and kind of warbly - not like a regular piano would sound. The drums are really simple, for the most part only a hi hat snare and kick drum, and there aren't a lot of them like mimiga said, so they are sparse
