@@kjdacod fun fact, he hates doing double flips. he only does em to get people letters. just saw a recent interview from this guy here on yt and he interviewed cody at tampa (as well as other skaters). so maybe since he said that he felt as if he should try some other uncommon tricks to get letters instead of just double flips the entire time. nothin wrong with wanting to switch it up imo. but to be fair we've already seen luan and cody many times. dashawn vs luan is gonna be interestingggg

Shout out both of them for the awesome display. Da Shawn was nailing everything and it was sad to see Cody miss his opportunities. He looked tired by the end of it. Also, why was the ref letting everything fly. Even Dashawn was making a run back symbol with his hand on one of the clips. Wth man 😩

I think Dashawn only wanted to run back a trick cus it was sloppy. Most of us try to run back tricks when they’re sloppy, I get it.
If someone wants to redo it themselves. That should override the judge . Period.
Great game! Ref should've definitely called a few redo's on some of Dashawn's tricks though.
maybe on the 540 flip, which cody landed. everything else was fine, rick flip just had some tail drag, and there's no rules about tail drags on either side of the fence. the switch 360 was tough but slowed it's just sketchy, no toes.

Dashawn really surprised me though, as did Kelvin despite the loss.
Nah he just doesn't rebait tricks if there's no toe drag or heel drag. It's the best way to referee a game. Its not like hes biased aswell, he referees the same for both skaters
Reffing differently when someone is about to lose is wrong and that just makes you bias .
None of the tricks landed had toe drag or heel just really sketchy but it should definitely count still. Game of skate isn’t to land every trick bolts but to land every trick period.

Dashawn brought it. Cody made some clutch saves though, that Nollie BS 369 heel, and that fakie big heel were insanely clutch. Dashawn is a beast. He could take it this year. I'm rootin for him! Cheers boys!!
Everytime Cody went on attack I was like "oh yeah, this is it, payback time", but seems like it was an off day for him. Dashawn is amazing. Didn't know he had such big tricks on lock. Referee was pretty merciful with some of those calls. Great game nonetheless !

Surprising to see such poor judging especially when Berra is present, it's simply a matter of ethics to redo the last trick on offense until it's done perfectly when the spread in letters is large.

The last trick was clean. It wasn't the best switch back 3 but it checked off all the boxes of the rules. Didn't touch the ground, didn't land on a tail, etc. Small tic-tac but that's allowed

Yes, some of Dashawn’s death blow tricks were sketchy, but Cody didn’t even come close to defending them. Even with redos, the game still would have been a sweep for Dashawn. He was in it to win it and got the W fair and square. Congrats to him.
